A cool place to get REAL balsamic vinegar. I walked in to buy a bottle and ended up doing a tasting of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. It was a little expensive but very cool!

The Olive Mill fabulous! You can taste-test any flavor of olive oil, balsamic, or combination (and they provide recommendations on the best oil/balsamic combinations). The variety of oils & balsamics in the store is amazing...from flavors like blueberry to bacon to mesquite! My favorite combination for my healthful salad is garlic olive oil paired with lemon balsamic! Yummy!! No more store-bought junky salad dressings for me!! It isn't inexpensive; however, they provide ways to get discounts thru bottle refilling and earning points. For high-quality olive oil and great service, the Olive Mill is the place to go! It's a wonderful experience!!

I love The Olive Mill, they have a huge selection of olive oils & balsamic vinegars. The staff is super friendly and sampling is encouraged. We can’t wait to go back!

Really cool spot for specialty olive oils. Lots of options to choose from. Picked up the harissa infused olive oil and absolutely love it.

Finally stopped in here during our last visit to Carmel and loved it! We explored the store a bit and did a tasting — the employees were super knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend treating yourself (or friends and family) to some delicious olive oil and balsamic vinegars!

We got the Tuscan Herb Olive Oil, Black Currant Balsamic Vinegar and California Nuevo Olive Oil.

We enjoyed our experience here. Who knew that our purchase of the chocolate balsamic would make exceptional bruschetta! We also tried it on strawberries and bananas! Definitely worth coming here to try samples

I absolutely love their olive oils. I always get bottles of the Tuscan Herb and Truffle. They are extremely flavorful and add so much to your recipes and cooking. The truffle oil with your morning eggs is amazing!

Love this place! They have the best flavor combinations. Using their oils and balsamics are the only only way I can eat my salads now. The flavors can be used in a lot of different ways. Highly recommend! A Carmel gem!

I cannot overstate how wonderful this place is! The products are amazing! If you're looking for great olive oil and balsamic vinegar, this is the place to go. The seasonings are fantastic as well. You can sample anything you like in the store and the owners are such sweet people. Honestly I try to be frugal when buying food, but I will spend money on the Olive Mill products because they are so damn good.

Really enjoyed talking with staff and tasting the oils. Top notch products, knowledgeable staff. Daughter Amelie loved the experience and loved the white truffle oil. Beautiful store design and overall fun experience. Highly recommended you stop in when downtown carmel.

Very good selection of Olive oil and vinaigrette. Friendly owner who gives lots of useful tips and recommendations. Nice place to pick or customized a gift basket.

So many choices and you can reuse the bottles for refills

Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and make great and creative recommendations. Products are extremely high quality. They also encourage recycling, and offer a discount if you bring clean bottles back to be refilled.

This is a fantastic way to buy olive oil and balsamic vinegars. The staff knows how to pair them, they are friendly, and allow you taste combinations. I use combos like Tuscan Herb Oil and Tuscan Balsamic(for salad), bacon Oil, and Peach White Balsamic(for pork), and their seasonal combos(for cheeses, etc). It really is an experience to go here.

Excellent basalmic vinegars vinegars and olive oils. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is a definite place to go if you're into either of these things. It was worth the 100 mile drive for us.
