Echo Hollow Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care

Honestly, this vet clinic saved both my dog "Kagome" and my kitty "Moomoo's" lives. About 9 years ago my new pup Kagome broke her femur bone and 4 out of the 5 clinics I went to said they either couldn't do the surgery and could only amputate or put her down because the surgery would cost 3-6k and I only had $1800 from my current paycheck. Scratch pay and care credit wouldn't help me, and payments weren't an option... but when I came here pretty much ready to give up they believed in me to be true to my word and my pupper was not only saved but her leg surgery was a complete success and she's still runnin like a champ today. Then, about a year ago, my kitty wasn't doing well, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong for the life of me. At the same time my family and I were losing our home so I was for sure that she wasn't gonna survive the harsh homeless/motel life we had to endure until we could figure out our next move. I was given a small window and a saving grace for cash and care credit that chose to help this time and took her straight here. Found out she developed type 2 Diabetes but with the proper insulin shots and some good care from this vet and our family they said she'll get back to normal and live a good rest of her life with plenty of years to come so long as she gets her insulin. It's been a year since, and she's back to her old kitty self 💓 so all in all, thank you, Echo Hollow! I will always recommend your services! P.S. I had an urgent care visit for my kitty who had a swollen eye. I had just moved here from California about 3 weeks prior and knew virtually NOTHING of the area. I knew I needed to get her in same day to make sure there wasn’t damage or a foreign body. Not only was the staff extremely professional over the phone but also so empathetic. They got me a same day appointment for urgent care AND I didn’t even wait. Before I had all of my paperwork filled out, we were called back! My cat is usually one that would pee out of fear of going to the vet, she was so comfortable with the office and staff she was climbing all over the counters. Very different experience from her needing to be physically removed from her crate in past experiences in California. Thank you, Echo Hollow! We will absolutely be back!

While they were unable to save our dog but they were amazing and did everything they could. Not only do they really care about animals, but they are one of the best priced clinics in the market. I can't recommend them enough for what they've done for my pup

I took my cat to this clinic for the first time and was very pleased with the whole experience. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I will definitely use them in the future for both my cats.

I honestly thought my cat, Aries, was going to die just because of my financial situation. He had a urinary blockage and I’m paycheck to paycheck, disabled, and struggling. But I blurted every detail of my financial situation and how his life was more important than rent to me. I started a gofundme and said I would do everything I could - and THEY did everything they could. They made sure I could pay my rent and pay for things I needed. While I gave them updates, they updated me and loved on him and saved his life and then some. They worked with me showed how much they cared and I will go here forever if I can. I will fix my financial situation and my plan is to go to them for anything I can. I recommend them, just be honest with them and they will do what they can and then some. Pain I didn’t even know he was having was taken care of and the estimate prepared me well. I trust them with my animals, which is pretty much equivalent to trusting them with my life.

I will say I’ve never put more trust into a veterinary office as much as I do this one. I will admit, the wait times are long but with the care my animals receive from here you just simply cannot get better. I genuinely feel safe walking my dogs in here, especially with Dr. Kenna. I know professionalism has to be presented to patients, and she maximizes it. From answering questions, to loving my dog as much as I do, educating me on what she thinks is best for my animals and hearing my concerns every time. I simply could not ask for a better person and professional to take care of my babies. I truly believe this office works really hard and they try to accommodate the best they can just like everyone else and that matters to me and my dedication to stay at this practice.

I called last night to set up an exam to get my Great Pyrenees puppy spayed. Our regular veterinarian we usually see is very nice but won't spay until a certain age. Well I called Echo Hollow because I've heard great things. Well I spoke with Neesa to get this exam schedule and she was wonderful on the phone and was extremely helpful and kind. I'm very excited to bring our dog over to this clinic and work with this wonderful staff.

Echo Hollow vets and staff have continued to provide excellent care for my kitty family members. Recently, just before the holidays, I needed care for not one but two extremely sick kitties on different days. They were able to find appointments and get them in quickly, likely saving their lives. I am so very grateful to the skilled and patient vets and techs, and to the wonderful staff out front they has to deal with our frantic calls and visits. A shout out to Barbara who was able to help me both days in person and over the phone…..for her exceptional compassion, skill, and patience while dealing with my calls. I also observed her dealing with other patients and their people with kindness and efficiency. Thank you to all. I consider myself very fortunate to have your clinic and staff in my corner. Thank you for all you do for our beloved pets/family members.

Dr. Kenna is so awesome! She took her time and helped my anxious dog, Loxie feel more comfortable. The team worked hard to get Loxie in right away after a laceration from a grooming accident became infected. Dr. Kenna answered all of my questions and helped me make an informed decision about my dogs care. She cleaned up the wound and gave us a chance to let it heal open so that my dog didn't have to undergo anesthesia. She has a calm demeanor and was so kind and gave me choices. I'm very happy with the care we received.

I took my male kitten, Boo Bear (“Boo” for short) , to Echo Hollow vet to get neutered . This was my very first time ever going to this veterinary clinic and I had such a great experience ! When I brought my kitten in , they checked him in and I met the vet who was super friendly and knowledgeable, I felt very comfortable leaving my kitty in her hands. I dropped him off and received a call around 1030 am to inform me that boo did excellent and they told me I could come pick him up in 1.5-2 hours so that he has time to recover. Everyone was super friendly and polite and the whole process from scheduling the appt to drip off and pick up as very easy and uneventful . Everyone did an amazing job ! My kitten hasn’t been in any pain and is doing great! I highly recommend Echo Hollow Veterinary Clinic ! :)

Took excellent care of my granddog! She was seen right away and treated like she mattered to them. When your fur baby is hurt, compassion goes a long way. Thank you for the kind and compassionate care you provided Maggie.

I was advised to bring my cat here after not being able to bring her in to her regular vet while she was extremely sick. I was treated with the utmost compassion and understanding right off the bat. the staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. while there, my sweet kitty ended up passing. after saying our final goodbyes, in my rush to soothe my children, I left without getting a copy of her footprints, which I regretting immediately upon getting home. about 3 weeks later, I received a beautiful card in the mail containing her foot prints, and instantly cried. it was such a thoughtful gesture for such an unfortunate situation, and I will cherish them forever. Echo Hollow Vet was absolutely wonderful through the whole experience and I highly recommend them.

My Corgi had a loose tooth and they were super knowledgeable and helpful with us. They were also super friendly and took the time to listen to all my concerns and questions. My little guy got lots of pets and compliments. I will be making this my vet of choice. Thank you, Echo Hollow! ❤

When I called to see if I could bring my kitty in for an urgently needed injection I spoke to a very compassionate and efficient woman who got me in the next day. When I came in for the appointment, the wait wasn't long and the tech was very caring. Very positive experience! Thank you!

The absolute best vet I’ve ever been to, in California, Texas, or Oregon. Only downside is a long wait once in a while, but it’s worth it. These docs know their stuff. They’ve provided additional years for us to enjoy a couple of our older pets. That’s definitely worth a wait.

Like most pet parents, there is trepidation and concerns when choosing a new clinic for our loved ones needs. I found both professional and compassionate care for My pet as well as empathy for her very nervous human dad.

Echo Hollow of Eugene Oregon has been my veterinary clinic and hospital since covid. One of the few, who did not turn me away in my time of need. Thor was my first to trust with Echo Hollow. Since then they have attended to a minimum of six dogs from my safety animal center.

This place is hectic. But there's a reason for that. It's because they know what they're doing and are trusted vets. They are very kind and empathetic folks who respect you and your fur-babies needs. This being said, it is sometimes hard getting into see them for emergency issues since they are not 24/7. I do appreciate their online system for obtaining appointments. It's a lot easier than trying to get a human drs appt let me tell you ha! I have been taking my dogs there for over 5 years after trying many other places around Eugene. Echo Hollow is my vet choice after seeing how some other places operate around the Eugene/Springfield area. Dr. Tre Gildersleeve is the bomb!

Staff was very nice. Very busy clinic so expect a bit of a wait. Dr. Kenna saw my black lab for allergy issues and ear infections. She did not insist on unnecessary lab work or push pet insurance...it was all about our options of what would help him out short and long term. Very satisfied and will go again.
