I took my husband's truck here to get an auto start put on it and it was a really great experience. The staff and manager were extremely helpful with any questions I had, they did it very quickly. The price seemed very reasonable. I highly recommend.

Ron was installing Systems in my dad’s Chevy’s out of a gas station garage in Gary back in the 80’s and is the ONLY person/crew I’d let get into my sound system. He’s been around as long as he has because of the quality he delivers. Pay for the service and you will never be disappointed!

Went in the week of Christmas to buy a car stereo for my daughter not expecting to have it installed so close to Christmas. They were very accommodating and to our surprise they manged to fit us in and install her stereo the next day. Highly recommend. The stereo was high quality and the price was right.

Ron and Alex are 5-star installation experts! I had a Jensen VX7528 installed in my Porsche 987 Boxster, and it looks and functions great!! Accutek owner Ron has been there for over 40 years there on 30 and Taft as I was a kid in the early 80's going there with my Mom when we lived in North Merrillville to get everything from car stereo, to her broken cassette tapes even repaired. I started going there in the early 90's as I started driving and Accutek built new shop. I have had them install a new stereo or two , or broken antennas , custom speakers, car alarms etc, in every vehicle I ever owned since then, as back in the 90's my fancy Pioneer stereos were usually stolen because they were high end and car stereo thefts were still a highly popular crime back in the day and and I would come back to Ron each time with a hole in my dash where the radio he last installed used to be as back then I would never have my faceplate radio detached or have my pull out radio pulled out. Now days I come back for new car stereos with the latest features. Ron is the nicest, most honest, straight forward business man anywhere. His Knowledge of custom sound system installs, stereos, repair, vintage car electronics, to the latest smart car electronics is unmatched anywhere. Literally the only place I do business at where I never ask the total bill, I just tell him what I need and know I'm am getting the best service and price when I pay the bill. They put an auto start in my car a number of years ago that I was very happy with. When my husband changed my car battery it disrupted the connection to the auto start. When I called they knew just what the problem was. They had me in and out in 10 minutes and the gentleman that helped me couldn’t have been nicer.

First you guys met my dad back in the day and used to do his installs and he’s described nothing but remarkable work by you guys. Recently I brought my vehicle into you guys and you 100% completely met my expectations and then some, speechless on how much time and effort was put into my car audio install. Appointment was as scheduled. Stereo installation was done so quick I couldn’t believe it was finished.
The stereo was installed very professionally, and neatly done.
Back up camera, back DVD, CD player, controls on steering wheel works like factory installed.

Had a couple stock door speakers replaced here. Huge improvement with that alone. Definitely appreciated the work done here. No complaints at all...clean work, professional and great customer service, can't ask for more. Definitely will be back to have audio upgrades on my vehicles.

Had a new updated stereo installed in my 2005 BMW X 5. They had every piece of stereo equipment in stock, gave me an appointment and installed it without a problem. Had my radio upgraded in my new Jeep JL. Ron suggested a sub and an amp.said he thought I’d be happy. I thought I needed speakers too but figured I’d add them later. Ron was right, sounds amazing and my speakers sound great. I was ready to spend more and Ron coached me into waiting. Ron could’ve easily got me to spend quite a bit more and I really don’t need anything more. His service and professionalism are second to none. Save you time and money and come to the best. Now when the top and doors are off we will be jamming out ! And hearing quality sounds

Great people to do business with!! I have used them the last 15yrs or so. They have worked on 5 different vehicles for stereos, alarms, remote starters and back up camera. Prices are fair, services are top notch.

I have been coming to this place for over 20 years. It is a car audio institution in the Region. Just last month, I had a new head unit and 4 speakers installed in a 2001 Toyota Corolla. It went from 90's tech to 2018 tech in just one day! I fully enjoy driving this car again thanks to the new audio and Bluetooth hands-free calling. Ron and Co. are great and are a pleasure to work with. Took it back a weekend later for some fine tuning and it was no problem. I'll always have my aftermarket car audio needs addressed here and you should too!

I have been to these guys several times since I was 22. I am now 37. Had them install a few stereos over the past years and even when doing installs myself, I went to these guys for quality amplifier wiring and even alarm key fobs (remotes). Ron is very helpful and normally very straightforward with assistance and very honest. Some people may chose to go to a big name retail store or online but when it comes to knowledge and real service, that's when a place like Accutek really shines. They even stock used equipment and replacement oem stereos sometimes. I recently purchased a 2000 Honda Civic in great condition and stopped by inquiring about a remote for old alarm. I spoke with Ron at Accutek and got some very valuable information about the alarm on the vehicle. I will be back soon to purchase the correct remote for the alarm. These guys are the best in the area!
