Phil-B's Cafe

Not sure why I haven't tried Phil B's before today but am I glad I finally did! I ordered a veggie egg white omelette, which was excellent 👌. My husband ordered the lunch special, a chorizo burger. Came with a boatload of French fries prepared perfectly and served hot. Our server Anna, provided wonderful service. She was very attentive and my coffee cup was always full. The entire staff were working hard and had a great team attitude! Sorry I failed to get a picture of our meal... I will next time. There will definitely be a next time and soon😊

I have been here several times and have always had a great experience dining in for breakfast, lunch and ordering carryout. Everything comes out super hot fresh and plated beautifully. Service is always wonderful with a smile.

They now have a Mexican food menu ask about it.
I'm really surprised that they don't have more reviews. But I'm going to admit I wanted to try to keep them all to myself as a secret, maybe that's what others are doing as well.

Amazing food. Valpo's hidden gem. Everything is quality. The service is impeccable. People are so nice and so friendly. And the food is glorious. Seriously it's so good every time. It's our go-to breakfast spot.

P.S. Ask for the Mexican menu.

First timer and then experience was great. Had breakfast. The food was good and the service was phenomenal.

Delicious food. Ordered the Italian beef with mozzarella cheese sandwich with peppercciinis on the side and fries. Absolutely delicious. Kind waitresses and it's very comfy and cozy place to eat. Try it. I'm sure you'll agree with me.

Food was excellent. The coffee cup stayed full. They made sure to update that the food was taking longer than expected. Great value for everything.

We opted for two of the lunch specials today. My boyfriend had the steak quesadillas (homemade tortillas, steak, onions, mushrooms and cheese! I tried the broccoli and bacon soup. It had so much smoky bacon flavor! I also had the turkey, swiss, spinach and avocado melt. Everything was fantastic and the service is always good!

Classic diner. Great food. Prompt and friendly service. Very reasonably priced. I ordered the veggie omelet and I was delighted by the variety and amount of veggies stuffed I used. Hash browns are perfect. Will definitely visit again.

Best Breakfast I have enjoyed in Valparaiso! The biscuits are like Cat Head biscuits from down south! Wonderful light and fluffy. Fantastic sausage gravy!!

Hubby and I went to do our shopping from out of town. Just punched in places for breakfast and this little gem came up. We are so very happy it did. The food is outstanding. Small town coffee shop with BIG TIME GREAT FOOD!! A must return to again. I got a Philly Omlet and hubby got a Philly B Steak skillet. We each had a bite of the others and all I can say is WOW CANT WAIT to go back!! A must for a little hidden gem in Valpo....

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Reasonably priced. Cozy atmosphere and great service.

Get there early on weekends or be prepared to have to wait. Try the “crunchy French toast with whipped cream and chocolate” or the “baked, designer oatmeal.”

I like their large glasses of iced tea and they have enough variety of food so that when I go there I don't have to duplicate what I had the last time

Best place for breakfast for the last 11 years of my life. Sausage links unmatched by anyone, skillets 10/10. Always happy coming here for dinner in our take out.

Best breakfast for the price in Valpo. I come here way too often and they never disappoint!
