I had the best experience at the Valparaiso, IN JCPenney a couple days ago! Diane, Darlene and Maria were very helpful! They absolutely went above and beyond to help me as a customer, and I really appreciated them. I found a shirt in the men’s section on the 80% off rack, BUT it had absolutely no tag on it and there was no other shirt like it around that I could find with a tag and price. I was sent to the back of the store, so they could search for the shirt in the computer system. These wonderful ladies worked for 20 minutes attempting to figure out what was going on with the t-shirt I wanted. Diane, Darlene and Maria did an absolute fantastic job because they ended up finding out what was wrong and I got the shirt for a fantastic price! I was absolutely so happy with these three ladies and how hard they worked just to help me buy a Def Leppard T-shirt that I ended up cutting into a crop top when I got home anyways :-)

Diane, Darlene and Maria were absolutely fantastic! If I could give 10 stars to those three ladies, I would! I will totally be back to shop at the store again! Fabulous service!

I was there strictly to purchase some toe rings and ankle bracelets. When I went into the jewelry dept the clerk was helping another customer. I was waiting long when another associate came to ask me what she could help me with...I asked her if they had the toe rings and ankle bracelets in the store or online only...she was not positive but directed me to where these items would be if they did. Which was fair due to the fact she worked in a different dept entirely. And sure enough I found what I was looking for at a great price!!! The cashier that checked me out at the makeup counter was actually the girl who had came to assist me in the jewelry dept. She was very nice and extremely helpful!!

I came to Penny's to look for dress shoes. Diana was superb in helping me, went out of her way. Then, Lisa, in jewelry, was also excellent in helping me. I can't give enough praise to these two women. They both made my shopping experience so special and enjoyable!! Also, at the check out by the doors, Linda and a man were also so awesome!! Thank you to them all!!

Went there for the mystery sale had no coupons the lady gave me a 40% off to use.

Love this JCPenney! A large store with a variety of items and a large selection of styles and sizes. Very nice selection of home items, too. There's a shoe department, a salon, and a Sephora store in this JCPenney. There's also a clean men's & women's (separate) restrooms. The ladies dressing area is large and nice. There's a large parking lot with plenty of parking space.
I enjoy shopping at this JCPenney store!

Great variety, good prices! Staff are always helpful, especially if an item is out of stock. Ordering items out of stock or that just aren't available in store is easy and free when delivering to the store for pick up. WHICH makes exchanges even easier because you're right there! Though I have yet to need to do that!

Store was exceptionally clean. Almost everything had some sort of sale going on. Prices lower or comparable to other area retailers. I use ship to store option, on an item not in stock at a deep discount. Surprised more people don't go to this retailer. JCPenney's has been of Valparaiso standard for over 60 years including their many years in downtown Valparaiso.

Always find what you need in selection and quality.

Had a fantastic experience at the Sephora in this location. Alise who was the lady who helped me was absolutely fantastic. She helped me find all the products I needed and even told me the benefits of getting approved for a credit card. She was phenomenal and really made me feel comfortable the entire time. Thanks so much alise you rock!

We took pictures at J C Penny's and it was awesome. We were 5 min. late but they set us up and we had an awesome shoot. Very clean store. Good friendly atmosphere. I would recommend getting family pictures or any kind of pictures taken here.

I love shopping here, I feel like there is a never ending amount of things are here. I had been in to get a dress for a wedding the next day and the ladies were super helpful plus I love their rewards program, I’ve gotten so many things for a few cents or few dollars.

Huge sale this weekend!!! They had in store coupons on top of really good sales already. I found holiday clothes for the whole family and was so surprised when I got to the check out! In a gooood way(:
