Thuy Cafe

Located in a strip mall, I didn’t struggle to park but I can tell it would be difficult on certain days & times. The menu has a wide variety of Vietnamese options, including Bahn Mi. I tried the lemon pepper beef, it was sooo good. It didn’t look like it had much meat until I took a bite. The ratio was really good, and the bread was fresh and crunchy. I also had an iced coffee with tapioca pearls that was delicious, not overly sugared. I look forward to returning and trying other menu options

Place is great! Gotta love small family owned restaurants. My wife and I were even talking about how their Pho just hits the spot by far compared to other Pho on Central. Bahn Mi and Spring Rolls are great as well!

As soon as I smelled the fish sauce from the soup I knew this is the one. Great price, variety of items, no frills, just how authentic Asian food suppose to be eaten.

This place is awesome! Especially for Boba and Bánh mi sandwiches!

They have a great selection and vast choices I'm boba teas & drinks, lots to choose from!
My favorite is Taro with boba

It's a small location with few seats and tables but clean, super friendly and awesome.

I love this place! I haven't been back since before the pandemic, but it's still just as good as before. The Da Nang noodles are my favorite and the lemon pepper grilled beef banh mi was incredible. Their grass jelly drink and fresh sugar cane juice is also delicious. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. They offer a larger range of banh mi than I've seen at any other Vietnamese restaurant/cafe.

Delicious and fairly priced. The pho is the best around, so much better than any place on Central Ave. We also had the spring rolls which hit the spot, a delicious pork bahn mi, grilled pork fried rice, and a taro boba drink. Everything was absolutely delicious and made fresh to order. This is a super cute hole in the wall type small business we love to support!

Excellent fresh spring rolls and banh mi!! The teas were amazing also! Beef jerky is a must, the sneaky sweet heat kept us coming back for more until our mouths were numb! We also came home with a shiitake mushroom and nori rice topper, kind of like a fresh-ish furikake that we're very excited to try!

We will definitely be back for other hot dishes

Their blueberry Boba is tasty! I got a small Kim chi to go and a four pack of macaroons that were fresh & delicious. 😋

The pho is exceptional - very savory and rich with beef flavor. The boba drinks are very good too. Need to try more stuff on the menu. Service is a little slow and the place is not gourmet in decor and atmosphere but for authentic Vietnamese you can't beat it (has the smells too).

This is a great little place! Great service and good food! The food menu is small but they have a large selection of buba tea and banh mi!

I ordered the bun bo hue to try it out. It is decent and will try their bun Rieu next time.

The best part is they have fresh Duong Mia! You don’t find that at a lot of places.

Definitely give them a try if you haven’t.

This place had the best Bahn Mi I’ve ever tried, no exaggeration. The Taro bubble tea was good, not the best I’ve had, but I was there for the food itself, and it exceeded my expectations by a mile. The bread was crisp and crunchy, and everything just tasted super fresh. The vegetables were pickled perfectly, and the meat was so so good. I ended up getting a second sandwich—they are a little small, but cheap enough that I had no issue with getting a second one. The rest of my family also really enjoyed their meals! I was visiting from New Jersey and I really wish I could go back whenever I wanted to eat there again! I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Florida.

They have fresh fruit Boba Tea's, and they are so delicious! They even substituted with coconut milk for me because I am lactose intolerant. Also they have very yummy Bahn mi sandwiches!!

I enjoy this simple cafe for it's strong Vietnamese coffee, the real French bread sandwiches with the fresh tangy veggies over well flavored meats. Nice folks, reasonable price.

I had gotten the coffe boba slush and it was frozen frothy and delicious with just the right amount of coffee flavor not too much and not to little the staff was nice also :)

Been going here for the last 2-3 years so it’s been a little while (a bit of quality drop off) but overall visits Total 8-10; the Bahn Mi Sammys are delicious and would usually buy to feed my whole family (to go). Totally dig the noodle combos (shrimp & pork bun) + boba (1/2 the sugar) with lychee jellies. The fresh rolls are tasty too!!

Hands down the BEST banh mi in Saint Pete, if not pinellas county. Everything here is absolutely amazing. I go here at least once a week, and dream about it every day I am not there. Great prices, and truly the best food, they also have the best banh bao EVER and the most fragrant and delicious green tea. I love Thuy ❤

Awesomeeeee boba teaaaa! Made with care and love the customer service. Photo of plant, lady that was there told us this plant is 15 YEARS OLD cool stuff. But the tea was made perfectly. Will be back!

Rating this mostly on takeout banh mi (vietnamese sub). The subs are pretty good (I've had better in Atlanta and NYC, but these are not bad at all), the prices are reasonable and the service is courteous and fast. I do enjoy their tea and their sugar cane is fresh (I usually ask for it without fruit juice in it). The ambiance is decent, but not a lot of seating available.

The food is absolutely delicious! And what a great little hang out spot. The sandwiches are one of the best sandwiches I've had and the boba tea is to die for!
