I have been to this Ace Hardware for years. Never had a bad experience. Saturday March 2nd I needed help with my tire inflammation valve. Hunter helped me pick a new one out and added my part to it since they were out that day . Thank you Hunter

I went in today and the staff was so nice to me and my dog wasabi! They even gave him treats! The gentleman who helped me find screws was so patient and kind! Above and beyond customer service! I will be back!

Norm helped me step by step with a plumbing problem with my sink… I went to Lowe’s 3 times and got different stuff every time and he put it together for me and made sure everything was going to fit right before I left. Great customer service! I didn’t know Ace had so many different plumbing fittings! Thank you Norm!

The nicest ace hardware I've been too. Not only is it fun to look (and buy) at all the fun things they have, it's also nice to see all the friendly employees that work their. Sota is a favorite. She is so nice and helpful. Thank you to all the employees at this location for being wonderful. :))

Just like the jingle says. The staff are so knowledgeable, helpful and know the store so well. I love going to ACE they always halve everything I need and if they don't they will refer you to a place that has what you need for your home projects.

I went into the store to find a simple little brass screw or a new electrical base that would fit a brass ornamental nightlight in the shape of a hummingbird with crystal prisms that has a great deal of sentimental value to me. A delightful young man by the name of Hunter worked with me. Although the store didn't have a night light base that would adapt to my little hummingbird nightlight, Hunter searched for a screw that would line up with the electrical base that I brought in. Alas, Hunter finally "shaved" a bit of the plastic off of the base so the screw would fit perfectly. This was done after one of his colleagues suggested to do so. Hunter must have spent some 30 minutes or more to fix my hummingbird nightlight. I apologized for taking up so much of his time on something that may appear to be so trivial. The charge for all his efforts? 35 cents for the little brass screw. Hunter's customer service? Priceless! Thank you. And thanks to other staff members who were so kind, too. Now my little hummingbird nightlight shines and sparkles again each night! Kindness and superior customer service still exists!

I have spent a few days and a lot of wasted time and gas searching for an apple corer all over town. Yesterday I went to Ace. Kim jumped in as soon as I walked in and was very helpful, she went above and beyond by making phone calls and searching on the internet. She found one and I was able to go buy one.
Kim was extremely friendly and fun to work with on my adventure. Thank you again Kim for all your help.

This is our neighborhood Ace and they have been a cornerstone for South Salem. The crew is extremely helpful for us as first time homeowners. I've come here over 30 times in the last 3 years for questions regarding paint finishes, replacing door locks, cabinet, hinges, ventilation, etc and they have directed me exactly what I needed to buy and do to make repairs/upgrades at home. I've even done really small jobs like bringing stripped screws to the store that I removed from a previous license plate on my car and they helped me find better ones in the exact size. I also bought my first grill here on Black Friday and I have to say, it elevated my dad game by tenfold. Thank you, Ace of South Salem!

Bring in your screws, pictures and parts as this staff is ready and able to service your needs. Very attentive and knowlegeable. May be a litter overpriced but they save you time. They have good inventory on supplies and never lost the concept of Customer Service where the Big Box stores are failing. "Ace is the Place"

Ace truly is the place with the helpful hardware folks! Plus, their prices are more competitive with the big box stores than you might think.

Yesterday, I went to Lowe's to look at Ego lawn mowers. Despite calls for help, I didn't get any assistance for 20 minutes. I was ready to spend $400 there. While I was waiting, I decided to shop around on my phone. I soon discovered that the same mower was available at South Salem Ace for the same price and it was in stock.

This morning, I went to Ace to purchase my new mower. The customer service is spectacular. They answered all my questions and I was so impressed, that I added another $400 worth of yard accessories. There really is no better shopping experience than at Ace.

Big thanks to Norm from S. Salem Ace. He helped me solve a plumbing problem with hardware that I wouldn't have known to ask for. It is fantastic to feel like someone is invested in helping and I really appreciate being able to lean on the knowledgeable folks at Ace time and again.

The folks at the Madrona Ace Hardware were very friendly and helpful for me in the midst of a mildly stressful shipping mishap from another store.

We just love this Ace store- everyone who works here is very friendly and knowledgeable. We have bought beautiful healthy plants from the nursery over the years that are thriving. The gift shop is always tempting. The hardware section is well stocked… just this weekend we needed Christmas light chords and switch protectors and I said just go to Ace… but my husband said the big stores are cheaper— after driving to Home Depot and Lowe’s we ended up at Ace and they had everything we needed. Also, I’ve been hunting for a non-candy/non-chocolate advent calendar- and Ace had the sweetest build-it yourself calendars this year. This Ace is the best! My advice if you see something in the gift shop or the nursery you love- get it- because it will probably be gone the next time.

Walked in and asked one of the many employees where was what I wanted and got that info quick. Went through the cashiers quick and was out in less than ten minutes.

Love this store! It has that neighborhood hardware store vibe. I get good advice from the staff. The store has an amazing selection of items and prices are very good.

This store has everything known to man, if there's a nut bolt or something that you need and they don't have it it probably doesn't exist.

Great store & so much of a variety & just great staff to always be helpful unlike big box DIY stores ! And they have a great "Gift Store" inside & I believe they gift wrap for You as well ? Overall great old school & modern general hardware store worth shopping in ! Ace is the Place 💯
