Roth's Fresh Markets

Well I've kept my favorite lunch spot a secret long enough. I eat here 3 to 4 times a week and it's like having my own private restaurant. Whether I want amazing sushi, the best fried chicken in Salem or an unbelievable salad bar it's all right here @ Roth's IGA Vista on Commercial. They have a gorgeous solarium with glass garage doors that they open during the day.

I can usually eat sushi and fried chicken for under $14. There's never any tipping and I'm usually there all by myself. The food is quick and the dining space is very nice. I thought I'd let everybody know.
And seriously, where else can you have sushi and fried chicken at the same time. LOL

This past Saturday I used Roth’s Vista market deli and bakery for an event. They knocked it out of the park. The deli sandwiches and trays were beautiful, tasted delicious and ready for pickup exactly when requested. I was even offered help to get it to my car in driving rain. The cake I ordered was beautifully decorated exactly how I had imagined and tasted delicious. I have enjoyed shopping at Vista Market for over 40 years and I certainly will continue to. Thankyou very much.

I bought their pre cooked turkey dinner for 4, it easily could have fed more came with reheating directions and was delicious!

Great tap and bottle selection , discounts on growler fills. Individual bottle sales from 6 packs is OK try 1 before buying six, you can have a glass of beer or a flight in their seating area, hot food available as well!! Happy Hour 3 to 6, Boneyard Notorious is always on tap, $4.00 or $5.00 for 12 ounces. Sandwich is pulled pork with Tots!!

The bakery is absolutely superb! They made my daughter an absolutely gorgeous cake for a very reasonable price! And the cake was one do the most delicious birthday cakes we have had!

I love this grocery store, excellent variety of choices in all areas.

Roth's has grown on me over the past year. They have an excellent selection of goods. Their fried chicken is delicious. Plus they have beer on tap and other hot foods to choose from if you want a low key beer and dinner!i like that they have fresh sushi made daily, too. The customer service has always been above average for me. It can be a little hectic to get out on Liberty going south so I have to detour around the back but I don't mind that because they treat me well.

Very friendly people here with great emphasis on service. It is a great spot for me to get a stone fired pizza while I wait for my car to charge.

I’m a new neighbor to the area and I’ve really enjoyed visiting this store so far. The prices are fairly reasonable and there’s a good selection, and all of the staff have been incredibly friendly and genuine, it really feels like a family and a good place to work. The store is also designed well and it’s a welcoming atmosphere, and I look forward to coming here and any of these stores. I want to give a special shout-out to Tammy in the wine department who gave a great recommendation on a bottom-shelf wine today 👍🏼 It was delicious and I really appreciate your kindness and knowledge of wines, and also helping me stay on budget! Thanks to the whole team ❤ Keep it up!

The entire store is great, but I especially love the bakery! We order cupcakes and cakes many times throughout the year, they are always fresh and decorated beautifully. Guests always rave about the wonderful cupcakes! Thank you to Debbie, Mike and the rest of the team for being so wonderful!!

For NATE in Seafood! Best FRESH FISH in Salem! Nate can order most fish varieties and it’s always fresh and at a great price. 30% or more less than Fitts! He’s a peach of a guy too! Bon appétit!

The staff is very friendly and the store is very clean. Great beer selection. The sushi is great and they have lots of yummy hot foods as well. My kids love eating lunch in the covered patio area

Nice covered eating area that can be opened up to fresh air when the weather is nice. Can have made to order hamburgers and other items to eat. Growler station with an excellent variety of microbrews. Olive bar, bakery, butcher shop. Clean and well organized. Managers are willing to order specialty and hard to find items if you can't find it in the store. Employees are helpful, respectful, and polite. Not the cheapest grocery store in Salem, but absolutely one of the nicest.

I have an addiction to fresh produce and Roth’s is my supplier!! I can’t walk out of Roth’s without way more produce than I reasonable need! They always have a wonderful selection of produce! Now that I think about it... I also have a hard time passing up the gourmet cheese dept! I love to go there to pick out special sausages and cheese for a charcuterie board!! Roth’s meet department is so great! I recently had them slice up some beef to order, which they cut by hand, for a fun family recipe and it turned out perfect!!

Always a pleasant experience at Roth's. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the selection of organic and local goods is always extensive. I've never not found what I was looking for. They are the only local place that carries the natural facewash I like to use. However, if you're looking for generic household goods like baggies or sponges, you'll save a few bucks if you buy them elsewhere. Your money will be best spent on specialty local, organic, and all natural items here. Also free cookies for kids from the bakery every visit!

I enjoy the grill here. They serve beyond burgers and the digital kiosk makes the process easy. You can even order online and select a pick up time. Try it out. I haven't had a bad burger to date.

I've long been impressed with the level of service at Roth's. The price may be just a bit higher but you get what you pay for. Produce us typically locally sourced and high quality. You want friendly and personal service then this is the store for you.

I have yet to be in Roth's on S. Commercial in Salem, Oregon that I haven't been greeted as though I were a family member. This store is better than ANY Super Store by far. I LOVE all of the displays for the Holidays, a wonderful, homey touch! Don't ever neglect this store folks...it is AMAZING!!

Their donuts are AMAZING! Sourdough French bread is the best I ever tasted (and I grew up in the SF Bay Area). I love shopping here and they even have a Ballot Drop off box for last minute voters (me - last night).

As a former employee here, I do want to give it a 5 star rating. Roth's bends over backwards to make a customer happy. Overall they're definitely more expensive than the competition, but they have really nice stores, high quality products, and I would say super nice employees, just please treat them nicely back!
