From the outside, the place looks like an abandoned property. The building used to be a warehouse for grains while Japan was controlling Taiwan. It is nicely decorated with open space. The hand drip coffee beans selection was just right, 5 beans. They roast the beans on site. The pastry chef makes all the cake and desserts onsite. The fresh pear cake definitely reflects the freshness of the pear with a little fruit acid taste. I will recommend a stronger taste coffee to go with the fruit cake since most of hand drip coffee has a taste of sourness already. The Port wine chocolate cake was not awesome, but it goes well with a lighted roasted drip coffee. Great place to relax in the afternoon.

A coffee shop with the apperrance of a coffee warehouse, with kind staff, tasty beverages, and delightful desserts. I totally recommend this place. Specifically, I recommend you order the lemon tart and the Origin Hot Chocolate.

Sadly to be told that one of the favourite, lemon tart, was sold out. But we tried salted pineapple pound cake & chocolate chiffon cake w/ice cream. Both were outstanding! Cakes were served warm and especially the warm chocolate chiffon cake matched with milk ice cream sooo well! And it made me look forward to lemon tart more ;)
Hand drip coffee was also good with choices from various origins.

It's a very cool café which is reform from a warehouse. I didn't try the drilled coffee. But, the Americano is good enough. Besides, the dessert is great. I'll come again when I am around

An excellent coffee shop near the Xinbeitou MRT station. They provide nice coffee, milk tea and cake. The best part of this place it’s the interior design with the harmony concrete wall and cast iron girder.

The most amazing chiffon cake I’ve ever eaten. Chocolate Wine Chiffon was sublime. Coffee was the best I’ve had in Taiwan. Awesome space and friendly.

A once-discarded warehouse turns into a tranquil boutique place serving hand-made coffee, coffee beans, milk tea and the best part is : beer. You can stay here alone or share your time with your friends totally oblivious to time. Recommended: cake+Latte=my favorite set.

Very delicious cake and chocolate drink! Nice industrial style design. Very calm during weekdays! Also sell some craft beer.

Caramel pudding cheese cake is very tasty. Coffee is very good.

Good coffee, good mood.

It was a warehouse years ago. Now renovated. The coffee is well selected and chocolate cake and desert is really worth a visit in the day time.
Only thing is it take few minutes walk from the MRT station there. Please use your google map to make sure you are on the right way.

An industrial warehouse repurposed as a coffee shop. Occasionally a ginger neighborhood cat from next door saunters in and will claim your lap as she desires. Try the house made pineapple cake with pineapple ice cream. A bit pricey, but sitting at the counter seat will earn you 50% off coffee and waive the minimum drink charge.

Their pound cake was delicious. We also had a "bubbly" Americano, where the water is substituted for sparkling water. It gave the coffee a beer-like flavor. Great atmosphere, and friendly staff.

Sheme House is a Beitou barn during the Japanese rule of Taiwan. Built in 1937, it is a historic building with a long history.
Now it is a cafe where you can enjoy the beauty of the old house and the aroma of coffee.

Great coffee and cake! Highly recommended. Fair prices for the quality you get here. Just stayed for a coffee and cake. Probably not the right place for getting work done.

Good coffee and a beautiful art gallery, we love the chocolate cake very much.

A beautiful spot to spend a weekend afternoon. Their store cat is adorable.
