Grand View Resort Beitou Hotel

Rooms were spectacular. Mini hot spring right in the room, great view on the patio, pajamas and slippers and basically everything provided. Service was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Location was a tad bit remote, but as a resort it's a given.

Came here just for the private onsen experience so can't comment on the hotel rooms. The onsen was a fantastic experience. Very clean, we had the semi-outdoor room which was a very pleasant environment. Yes it is more expensive than a public bath, but also includes a dessert and water. On the whole, very much worth the price tag as it is a premium experience.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. Loved the view and hot+cold private Onsen bath. The toilet and shower spaces were well designed and high-tech.

Staff were professional and helpful. They could also converse in English.

Breakfast was delicious and served on a large tray in a visually appealing spread.

There is a shuttle bus down to a train station. You have to book in advance to take the bus down from the hotel. No booking was required to take the bus back from the station.

The areas of improvement are:
1. Drinking water is provided only in small bottles or refillable by the staff at the main reception. I would've preferred to have a water dispenser somewhere I can help myself to.
2. The gym is small and only has cardio machines. There was no equipment for strength or other kinds of training.

Overall a pleasant stay. Would recommend.

Such thoughtful and kind service. I brought my mom here and we enjoyed it so much. The staff was so helpful and the hotel is beautiful. All was enjoyable, especially the meal at the French restaurant at the hotel -- the meals were so creative, delicious, and memorable.

Amazing resort, worth every penny! We spent just one night here (which seemed sufficient) and really enjoyed the in-room hot spring tub. Definitely felt like a luxury experience and was a nice break away from the hustle and bustle of Taipei city toward the end of our trip. Sprung for the traditional breakfast which we really enjoyed.

Shoutout to the incredible staff who were super friendly and welcoming, especially the front-desk receptionist, Vito! He went out of his way to give us some amazing restaurant recommendations — we tried a ramen place he suggested and it ended up being some of the best ramen we have ever had! He is also remarkably friendly and kind.

Only thing we wish we knew is that you have to wear a swim cap in the pool. We were enjoying a night time swim for about 2 minutes before we found out we needed to buy a swim cap but unfortunately the spa receptionist didn’t mention that which was kind of a bummer.

Otherwise, great experience and definitely recommend!

This place is magical! We booked a room with a private onsen. That was so so so nice! Even if we had to leave early this morning we did a last jump into the sulfur hot water!
There is also a public bath at b2, if you go late at night, there will be less people and you can enjoy the facilities for yourself! Each day they will swap between female and male bath so if you stay two nights, you will be able to compare and try them both.
In terms of food, the breakfast was fantastic! I had the chance to try the Taiwanese beef noodle for lunch and OMG. I have never tasted such an amazing and tasty soup. I had to stop myself from drinking the whole bow! If you leave early to the airport, you can inform the staff and they will prepare some sandwhiches. It is a small touch yet it was very kind of them.
If I ever go back to Beitou, I think I will stay there once again!

Service: Staff were welcoming and professional. They greet you both when entering and exiting the hotel. Everything is well explained. Staff also speak very good english and helped to call a taxi to take us to the scenic area in Yangmingshan. We were able to drop off our luggage with them before check in time.

Transportation: My friend and I took the free hotel shuttle bus from Beitou station. You can find more info on their website.

Facilities: I was very satisfied with the hot spring facilities. They have two public hot springs (one male and one female) which alternate daily, so I was able to try both on consecutive days.

Room: Spacious and nice room. The hot spring in the room was very nice too. Only complaint here is the large windows next to the hot spring may be exposed to the adjacent building based on where your room is, so you won't have privacy if you try to enjoy the view and the hot spring at the same time (they have blinds you can close to cover the window though).

Food: Breakfast was good but not notably amazing. A lot of variety in the dishes served though.

Overall would recommend this hotel to those looking for hot spring hotel in Beitou!

They have shuttle service to take guests between the hotel and MRT stations. When arriving at the hotel, the receptionist will introduce all the services/amenities with you and walk with you to the room, and introduce all the details in the room. They have welcome drinks, snacks, and fruits. The room is spacious and comfortable.

everything in this resort is good. therefore 5stars. had a good 2hrs of hotspring with complimentary dessert upon arrival. nice experience, good weather, all service staff are all top-notch excellent level. will be there again soon

Experienced their alfresco hot spring. Service was impeccable and the environment was comfortable & luxurious. They even have a pick up and drop off shuttle service to beitou/xin beitou station, so the off location is not an issue. In fact the high vantage point of the hotel gives an amazing view.

Rented a private hot spring room. Water was sulfurous but not strongly smelly. Reasonable price in USD. They provided water and pudding as well. Would love to stay here for an actual visit sometime.

The private hot springs rooms are very nice. A good middle ground from the crowded public hot springs and the Uber expensive Fancy hotels. The afternoon tea here is great too!

Enjoyed my stayed even just a night is a great place to relax. Booked the suits with private hot spring (sulfer) Service stuff were great. Was served by Jane, she’s really helpful during my stay as well and traveling around the area. Is very near yang ming Shan, also a great venture walking from xin beitou station and back to hotel.
Jane shared us the map and guide you on the route.

Driver - Kenny He’s service is outstanding because he borrowed his phone to us to contact another hotel to deliver our luggages to this hotel. Save our time and energy! He is very kind and talk to the customers while in the shuttle bus.
Receptionist- Love the check in service. They will provide you welcome drink and sit in the lounge to check in. They recommended some restaurants on those area that planning to go. They even wrote down on the sticky notes!
Cleaner - they will quickly provide the items we need depends on male/female customers. they even greet you along the corridor. They also deliver afternoon drinks and clean bins very often

Unparalleled luxury hotel nestled at the very top of a mountain and surrounded by stunning landscape. Everything is provided. No need to pack. Just bring yourself. This hotel provides every toiletry you can imagine-robes to wear and traditional comfort clothes you can wear while dining or relaxing in the hotel. The spa is amazing. The restaurants are awesome. The snacks, fruits and plum wine provided are plenty. The staff is attentive to your needs. The most friendly professional staff who genuinely care about your stay and comfort. I have stayed at many luxury hotels all over the world, but this hotel takes your experience to a whole other level.
