Jinbaoli Old Street

Lots of stalls. Park near the Qidu station because the streets are lined up with vendors. Food is good and cheap.

Wonderful old street with various special food you don't find elsewhere. Crab porridge, Seafood noodle, Jinshan Duck, Huge taro ball ice, steam sweet potato and so a lot delicious street food here

I loved it, the atmosphere, the stores, everything is friendly in Taiwan.

A much easier space to walk and buy stuff compared to jiufen

Lots of variety of street eats and a unique food culture. Old street has many vendors on both sides with a huge swathe of visitors, locals and tourists alike. What I like the most here is the wider streets that is quite different than many of the "old street" areas around Taiwan, where the streets are very narrow. In addition to the regular street foods there is a "restaurant" that serves food. Patrons will pick up plates of food to bring across the people packed street to dine in the restaurant. Like I said earlier, a different food culture.

A street market to visit with traditional Taiwanese food and vendors. In the middle of the street, which is the temple kitchen they sell duck and Taiwanese dished with good price.

Great oldie world shopping street with loads of choice in food and gift items.

Variety of food here. Good place for shopping. The place is reasonable.

A bit more unique than other old streets. Lots of cool stores woth different items to buy. There's a great restaurant where you have to go get your own food from a central location to bring a block away to your table. Delicious ice cream sorbet cart and others. Would recommend.

Old Street at jinshan. Famous for almond drink, and tapioca.

There is a restaurant there that is beside the temple. As seen in my picture. The food is really good. Try the wild goose. As seen in the my picture.

Great place to visit. Like the electric four wheel family cycle very much. Great way to move around.

Lots of cool stores, galleries and coffee shops set in old buildings full of character. It's like walking in an open air museum with stuff you can actually buy. I loved it.

The "real " buffet is here. You bring the dish you want to eat to your table. Delicious duck meal.

Bustling streets with some goods for sale, but mostly food. The candied sweet potato is a great local tradition. Give it a try!
Be prepared for crowds though and having to push your way through

food in the temple mouth. the duck and bamboo are particularly “famous.” I particularly enjoyed the fried vegetables. busy atmosphere and the price adds up, but value for money.
