Pataw Hostel

The hostel was moved about a year ago, and now it’s one floor of a house in Heping Island.
The new owners experienced working holiday in Germany so they understand backpackers so well. Everything clean but still comfortable, including showroom, shared bed rooms and kitchen. Be aware of there being this pretty cat.

The hostel is very convenient, near sea and mountains. The teapot mountain and keelung are nice to hike in one day. There is the Badouzi market where you can buy fresh fish and cook it in the hostel. Also easy to go by train to Pingxi and Jiufen. I find this place has the most beautiful nature of Taiwan.

Wonderful place- great base for exploring the north coast, hostel condition was ok considering the price ($500), but most importantly- the people were nice and offers great variety of water activities.
Originally stayed for 2 nights but decided to stay one more since the view and the atmosphere here were ammmmmmmazing! (Recommend: seaside park in the morning and water jumping at the shore ;)

Ver helpful and welcoming staff. Good wifi and facilities including drinking water, lockers and kitchen. Is conveniently located next to the marine science museum. Hostel itself is very spacious and a good place to meet people. I stayed here before heading to Matsu island.

Great people. Dennis is a really friendly guy. Comfortable beds. Great atmosphere.

老闆人很好，客棧裝潢走溫馨可愛風格，恰與經營者的熱情遙相呼應，而最近剛完成的壁貼和氣密窗成功增添不少質感，柔軟的沙發、寬廣的電視都使人感到輕鬆自在，室內隨處可見的植栽，讓客棧環境生氣蓬勃綠意盎然，店裡的開心果是一隻純白的小布舞曲，看牠時而撒嬌，時而與逗貓棒相愛相殺，時而巡視大廳房間，甚為俏皮可喜。整體而言，賓至如歸、舒適愜意、溫暖別緻不在話下～

我是來這裡打工換宿一週的小幫手。
如果以小幫手的角度，這是一間輕鬆，時間自由的換宿工作，可以照自己的時間安排把交代的事情及環境打掃乾淨，其餘時間可以好好認識基隆，如果是當班小幫手，18:00前把環境打掃乾淨做好就可以出去玩囉，But18:00至22:00一定要在櫃檯接待客人check in，所以是一份自律性要很高的換宿工作，很free的背包客棧！

老闆很熱情～價格平價，地點也很好～徒步環島住宿就像自己家一樣～

單車客在基隆、九份的一個很好的落腳歇息處。洗浴、洗衣設備都有，天時人和時還可以在1F開小趴。

雖然沒見老闆幾次面 不過老闆對客人跟小幫手都很親切 是值得大力推薦的地方 洗衣 洗澡 休息都沒問題 環島旅行的休息站
