Such a beautiful geological treasure 🥹 Very pleasing to the eye and definitely educated us visitors with the multi language map and description of the statues. The paths were very modern and comfortable, there were many patrols there to ensure the safety of each visitors, and it was very fun to explore + to take picture!!

野柳 (Yehliu) National Park's success can be attributed to its unique geological wonders, conservation efforts, and strategic management. Renowned for its extraordinary rock formations, notably the iconic Queen's Head, the park captivates visitors with its natural beauty. The careful preservation of these geological features underscores the park's commitment to environmental conservation.

Strategic planning plays a crucial role in managing visitor experiences. The implementation of well-designed trails and viewing platforms ensures that visitors can appreciate the park's wonders while minimizing environmental impact. This balance between accessibility and conservation contributes to the park's sustained popularity.

Educational initiatives further enhance the park's success. Interpretive centers and guided tours provide valuable insights into the geological processes that shaped the landscape. This educational aspect not only enriches visitors' experiences but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the park's ecological significance.

Additionally, effective promotion and collaboration with local communities bolster the park's success. By integrating with nearby businesses and accommodations, the park contributes to the region's tourism ecosystem, creating a positive economic impact.

In summary, 野柳 National Park's prosperity is rooted in its unique geological features, meticulous conservation efforts, strategic visitor management, educational initiatives, and collaborative approach with local communities. This combination creates a sustainable and enriching experience that attracts visitors while preserving the park's natural integrity.

A truly unique geological wonders with extraordinary rock formations. But for how long the place will remain as what it is now? The well-designed trails and viewing platforms are great but not the environmental damages caused by visitors approaching, touching, fooling and playing around the formation. I can foresee the entire rock areas to be concorded off in 5-10 years if they are still remaining. Photographing and filming should be done at distances away. Sad to see the environmental damages caused by the thousands of visitors daily.

Awesome geopark with unusual rock formation, fossils and big waves. Immensely popular photo stop and social share site. The place is crowded but it is well organized and visitors are courteous and gracefully queue and wait for their turns for photos. Visit it soon before erosion takes its toll on the unique rock structures.

Beautiful scenery by the sea. Can enjoy the sea view and the treasure of mother nature. There is a route to the hill at the end of the park. Although some effort is demanded, the breathtaking view that comes after is definitely worth it. The ticket price is reasonable and there are seafood restaurants nearby where one can find good food at a good price.

It's great place to look at some volcanic rocks and take some beautiful photos. Go on a good day. We went on a nice sunny day.

Paid entry and then walk to the formations and take many photos. Lots of people who know how to do great photos.

Yehliu Park It is a very beautiful park. We can walk around and see various shapes for fun such as Elephant-shaped bathing stone, Queen's Head Stone, Princess Stone, Piano Stone, Melon Bread Stone, etc.
A must see "Queen's head" (Landmark Mushroom Rock), The top of the stone gradually peeled away, forming its present shape. From a distance, it bears a striking resemblance to the head of Queen Elizabeth. with a beautiful neck and face.

Beautiful, peaceful with nature's wonders. Amazing to see the natural rock formations that had many shapes based on your imaginations. A touristy spot

Gorgeous views but so many tourists even at the end of December. Queen's Head was disappointingly small. Parking lot is large and reasonably priced.

Very beautiful geopark near the north coast of Taiwan. Definitely a must to take photos. So many different type of honeycomb and mushroom looking rock eroded by the sea due to weathering. There's tea shop for travellers to take a break and rest. There's tpilet there also We went very early so nobody was there yet. Ample parking lot.

My friends and I had so many great photos amongst the stones. The view of the sea, natural formations and the mountains are stunning. Be ready to do a lot of walking so wear your trackers and bring drinking water. 😊

Prepare to spend at least half a day here, leisurely walking through the park. Many spots for photo taking. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the scenic points.

The experience was akin to a roller coaster ride as it was slightly rainy and windy. The long queue for the Queen's Head rock formation deterred us from waiting and instead prompted us to explore other attractions. I have a deep appreciation for nature, and I hope that next time we visit, the weather is sunny. You should also buy tickets in advance to Klook to get promos.

Best when weather is good. Kinda crowded when there's tour group, but the place is huge enough to accommodate all. Just skip the popular queen's head and find hidden photo gems around.

The attractive tourist spot that show you the earth's art. There's plenty of sediment that make a picture just like a mushroom, queen's head, and etc.

You can get here by bus. But you need wait more because not much bus operate. But, if you visit Taiwan with group, I recommend you to use local taxi cause it's cheaper and yeah you'll arrived in front of your destination. It's simple

Its the third time that i had visited this place when i visit taiwan. Main reason being that my travel companions each visit had never visited this place.

Many different rock formation and lots of scenic spots for photo taking. Get ready a raincoat or just buy 1 from the many sellers there. Pretty cold from the seabreeze. A good location for a nice hiking too.

Yehliu Geopark is definitely a place you must visit in Taipei. With numerous buses available, it is incredibly convenient to get there, usually taking less than 90 minutes. What's even better is that it is located near the ocean park, allowing you to visit both places in one day. Just make sure to check the schedule for the ocean park shows.

The ticket price for Yehliu Geopark is very affordable, and the park itself closes at either 5 or 6pm. Plan accordingly to make sure you have enough time to explore. It typically takes about 4 hours to visit the entire park, as it stretches quite far and involves climbing a lot of stairs.

Now, here are some interesting facts that you may not know. The popular spot for taking pictures with the Queen head stone has a long lineup, but the recommended spot to stand isn't as aesthetically pleasing as it appears in the photos. However, the lighthouse in the park has been voted as the most beautiful lighthouse in Taiwan, which is quite surprising.

As you walk towards the edge of the park, prepare to be amazed by the abundance of beautiful butterflies, especially the large ones. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a view of the sea and the iconic "thumb stone." Don't forget to grab an information paper when you arrive, as it is incredibly helpful.

Overall, I would rate Yehliu Geopark as a 10/10. The facilities are well-maintained, and Taiwanese people have done an excellent job of preserving and showcasing the natural resources for tourists to enjoy.

Yehliu Geopark is very extensive, and all the rock formations are incredibly charming.
The mushroom, cute princess, and especially the Queen’s head formations are all truly amazing.
Luckily, the bright sunshine made for stunning photos.
But don’t forget to pack sunblock and umbrella,, the sunburn is no joke.

Jaw-dropping scenery with nature's majestic masterpiece! It was beyond expectation :) Truly recommended! But it's super humid, sticky and hot there, so you'd better brace for it when you visit! It would be disappearing soon from what I heard from local friends! Hurry up!
