Catholic Sanctuary of Our Lady of Wufengqi

A tranquil place to be. It’s a sacred shrine for Our Lady and Mother whose prayers and intercession are so powerful.

Came here with some friends during the Chinese new year holiday of 2022. There is a short trail of about 15 minutes before you reach the church where you will pass by a beautiful waterfalls. The place where the church itself is majestic. You could have an overview of a nearby town down the hill.

A tough vertical hike! We completed the trail one way in 2.5 hours and were exhausted! But the views at the top are amazing and well worth the climb. Bring 2-3 bottles of water, snacks and plenty of big spray. There are nice rest stops along the hike to break up the trails.

I came here for a Lenten pilgramage through our church. It was a great experience. I definitely recommend even coming here if you like to walk or hike. It's a great trail with amazing views! So peaceful

A sacred place to visit.its very accessible from Jiaoxi Train Station. We walk a little going up to the church but we enjoy. Hopefully we can come back here again.

a perfect for mass and prayers. green sceneries surrounding the sanctuary also helps create a calming atmosphere. there's also not that many people so it's not too crowded.

A beautiful sanctuary. A must-go place before heading the famous matcha mountain and mother trail. Restroom is also available here.

This "Matcha Mountain" is located on the trail of Our Lady's Villa in the deep mountains of Jiaoxi. It is hidden in Wufengqi Waterfall. The altitude is not high, but the distance of more than 10 kilometers takes about 5 hours to go back and forth. It is recommended to start early in the morning. It is a list of private climbers who love climbing

Catholic Sanctuary of Our Lady of Wufengqi is a wonderful place. I regret that I didn't know about it before. The establishment of this sanctuary was to commemorate the heavenly grace of Holy Mary, who appeared there to five mountain climbers, who were lost in mountains on 9 November 1986.

Fresh air, nice view and there is a church where you can pray and enjoy the serenity of the place.

It took us 3.5 hours to reach the top. Although it was foggy, I loved the landscape! Bring a raincoat with you.

Church was worth the short hike. Tranquil place with fresh air. The place looks well maintained. Perfect place to pause and contemplate.

Church as an entrance to the Sacred Mother Trail. There are 14 stations of the cross along the way to the top of the mountain.

A very tiring but also super exciting hike with a marvelous night view.
