Best hotel I’ve ever been to!! EVERYTHING IS AMAZING, top floor views, beautiful extremely clean rooms, perfect hot tub, comfy bed, LOVE the slippers and robe they provide, food at the hotel is delicious. We easily spent our entire day here. It was so comfortable and refreshed us from our long walks touring Taiwan. ALSO THE SERVICE IS AMAZING! Everyone shows so much care and will try all they can to help you. I want to come back!! Very family friendly for the baby too.

Stay is great…room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The only draw back is the set dinner….below expectations. The restaurant served Japanese fusion food. There are too many courses for the set, I think just appetisers, main course and dessert is more than enough. Try to find a good Japanese chef and serve traditional Japanese food will be much better. The overall experience is good but I will consider other resort if Yamagata half board menu remains the same

A classy hotel with a beautiful onsen floor. The breakfast is a combo buffet + order, so we were able to try different orders (staying two nights). The staff remembered us.

I am not Japanese, can someone explain why there are 2 sets of yukata available in the room? Both were super comfy.

Hotel is new, well maintained, well thought as well! We had a 2+ with us and they installed baby cot, baby accessories & bath tub without us requesting.

Room is generously sized. There's a game room for age from toddler to bigger kids (Switch). We end the day with hot spring and started a new day with it as well!

Its also right smack at a vibrant area where there are lots of shops, eateries, fruit sellers or even massage! Need to cater time for this!

Breakfast is on the top floor! Overlooking Jiaoxi! What a treat! Breakfast offers are good but if I were to stay there for 5 days, I might get bored already! But can always eat out I guess!

Service level is warm, gives clear instructions, helpful. Commendable!

It was a breath of fresh air coming from Taipei where hotels are small, boutique or more dated.

My family was surprisingly happy with it the moment we checked in. From 2 yo to 70 yo!

Worth coming here again!

This hotel is awesome! The rooms are cozy, and having a hot spring tub is a nice touch. However, the breakfast could use some improvement. Overall, still a great stay!

Enjoyed my one-night stay here thoroughly! Some highlights include: clean and large onsen + sauna; delicious breakfast with a wide variety; lots to do and eat around the area; room is large and clean with free drinks and snacks; common gaming room and craft activities are fun. Would definitely stay here again!

Giving my review as I just checked out like 30 mins ago. The room is spacious and clean. The combined bed is sufficient to sleep 2A and 2C (below 7) comfortably. The staffs are polite and display excellent services. The room onsen is huge and can probably sit the whole family. Breakfast is great and the staffs actually know that I’ve stayed 4 nights and proposed a to cook a special set for us on the last day because the menu is the same everyday and we almost tried all. Although listed as a 4 ⭐ on google, I felt I’m in a 5 ⭐ hotel given the services I received.

Well done to the hotel manager for up keeping such services. Your staffs really deserve the good compliments else I wouldn’t be writing such a long review. 👍👍👍

Highly recommend for those looking to book a stay in Yilan!

Excellent hotel with a great room with hot spring bath and good breakfast. Location is great and is close to the train station, main shop and restaurant area, and hot spring park. There is a nice ramen shop on the first floor. It is also close to the bus transfer station.

Very nice hotel. We enjoyed our 3D2N stay, the availability of an onsen bath in the hotel room was a joy. The rooms were large and spacious, clean and servicd staff polite and enthusiastic. Breakfast was good too with the availability of international and local choices. The gym was lovely as well, adequately equipped. We did not use the public onsen or the kids activity room so we cannot comment on that. The location of the hotel to the train station is about 3 mins walk and that was also a plus point for us. Overall great stay and we will come back again

We stayed two nights at this hotel. 5 mins walk from train station, night excursion for something to eat is all within walking distance. Can’t beat this location. The room is spacious with in room large tub for private soaking, or can use the communal hot spring with three different pools of water at 43, 40, and 25 C temperature. These are nude baths, and one must shower before soaking. We loved staying here. The only downside is the inconsistent Wi-Fi. One can book room with breakfast included. They have 4-5 different sets of meal to choose from and a salad bar plus congee bar for self service. The food is ok. Next time we stay, will most likely book room without the breakfast if offered.

The best hotel I've visited and stayed in Taiwan. Hot spring tub inside the room. Truly quiet, luxurious and good looking.

Really clean, nice and comfortable rooms with great service from hotel staff..Well worth the price and my family enjoyed themselves..Especially with the onsen experience and entertainment room..

I stayed here for one night. The bed is really comfortable and the hot spring bath is also nice. I enjoyed the hot spring with the view.

I found the washlet was broken in my room in the late night and I made a phone call to the counter, the staff quickly to the room to check it. Unfortunately, it was not possible to fix it in the short time. The staff gave me an offer to use another room. The process was smooth and comfortable.

Memorable stay, comfortable room, hot spring facility is excellent. Employees are polite, professional and humble. Food available within walking distance. Had the opportunity to use hot spring facility alone, so blessed! 🥰

Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Taiwan. Bed is clean and comfy. Facilities are good and well up-kept! Private and public onsen (hot spring) are both clean and inviting. Hotel Staffs are also helpful and friendly! I’ll definitely book the same hotel if I were to be back here. The parts lacking is that there is no in-house spa treatments or massage, and a sheltered drop off point for guests to alight or board seamlessly.

The hotel is situated in the city center where is close to many restaurants and public transits. Even so, the breakfast at the hotel is strongly recommended. The choices, food quality and freshness are impressive.

All staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room that we stayed is the sweet package for us. It has everything we need and we enjoy it very much.

Totally will recommend it to our friends and would love to revisit some time later!

Room 1104

The hotel location is great with plenty of local eateries within a stone throw away. On check in we got upgraded (which I didn’t know until the day of check out !). Room was quite modern and spacious with a relatively big bathroom and hot spring tub, but most importantly clean! Notably this was a 4 star rated hotel , but it was one of the first time that I was escorted up to my room by a front desk staff (not concierge) who kindly introduced us to the amenities and services the hotel has to offer.

I had my 18 months toddler with me , so was restricted with venturing to many of the places nearby . Luckily, my wife and I took turns in using the communal hot spring pools, which was a small area , but spacious and clean . In the men section there is a small balcony with some plants which helped in hiding my modesty after a few minutes spent in the hot sauna and the hot spring pools.

Breakfast was a choice of set menus with a small semi buffet choice which was sufficient. Restaurant was located on the top floor which had a pleasant view of the hotel surroundings, but I can imagine at sunsetting, the view must be amazing . The restaurant staff were attentive and polite considering my little devil running around causing havoc, but all the staff from the front desk , cleaners, communal spa etc were super polite and helpful towards my family and baby .

For the price we paid I think it’s as good as you can get, for a short drive from Taipei City for a strong 4 star hot spring with 5 star services and hospitality . If this hotel had a swimming pool and their hot spring water was little more heavy with the sulphur it would’ve been perfect.

However , we would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back next month ! This place has become one of my favourite hot spring places already and we’ve been to many around Taiwan . I generally prefer boutique hotels as I feel they pay more attention to small details in ways of design and products used. My baby got on with all the staff there and she’s picky !

1st night can't sleep well due to the AC noise so I called to front desk for help. They are very efficiency to come to my room to check the issue and investigate and check with their technician on the next day. However, they immediately change a room for us at in the midnight around 3am, and we also need to stay for the second night. The service and staffs there really impressed me and friendly. They deserved a five 🌟 level.

The room is spacious and clean. Hot spring tub is roomy with shower adjacent to it for easy access. Free drinks and snacks is always welcome~ Breakfast is surprising good, especially the Yilan Set(Taiwanese Style). The minced pork is so tender and juicy while the rice noodle soup is flavory. The only drawback is out room is facing directly to other building without much view. Otherwise, a perfect hot spring hotel to spend the weekend getaway.
