MU JIAO XI HOTEL

Room was very comfortable, and toiletries well stocked. You can ask for different types of pillows. In room onsen was super convenient. But I recommend trying that communal one with the different temps. The outdoor heated pool is very comfortable, a tad too warm for laps but perfect for lounging around. Water slide perfect for kiddies. Breakfast had extensive selection. Staff is very nice.

This is a wonderful hotel with spacious rooms and Zen-inspired décor. The rooms are equipped with smart systems and bidets, and have private hot tubs. The hotel also has a public hot spring pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast are excellent, and I highly recommend them.

Excellent service, room and environment! Our double Queen beds came with a private Onsen! I don’t understand the 1 star reviews but if there is a 10 star rating I would not hesitate to give it a 10 star rating ! Coming from Singapore and having stayed in Marina Bay Sands Hotel multiple times, I can attest that the rooms and services are far better than MBS.

Will certainly return again !

I stay the MU hotel for 1 night. It's amicable for the kids and the family trip. The front is the best, and the staffs are so kind. You can enjoy the hot spring in the room and the public outdoor swimming pool. There are some programs for the kids, and we enjoyed the time here.
We are looking forward to the next trip to Yilan.

Regrettably I only spent one night at this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally equipped with everything you could possibly need. Their in-room TV gives you all the info needed on the hotel along with their schedules in multiple languages. I personally used it for Chromecast to watch my own shows.

I suggest wearing the kimono style bathrobe provided by the hotel everywhere. It was very comfy and great for the hot weather. Wearing it informs staff that you are staying at the hotel so checking your room card is unnecessary. They sell these in their downstairs store.

The outdoor onsen is located across the street at Mu Reserve. It was a simple bath area with showers and lockers provided on-site. I suggest doing multiple hot and cold cycles to fully enjoy.

Considering I went during their off season, their restaurant for dinner was a bit lacking. Some of the dishes were empty or the food was expired and left for too long. The staff provided exceptional service and offered to have them cook the dishes fresh for myself. If you have the stomach I suggest trying one of each dessert as they were all worthy of the 5-stars hotel label.

Their breakfast was very light and delicious with a fresh omelette station. All the food was fresh but the fruit station was empty by the time I went. They offer take out cups for coffee. I'll admit that I had one too many of their cream corn dish. 🌽

I highly recommend 2-3 nights to enjoy the area and all their pools and onsens and coming with your significant other or family!

Mu Jiao Xi Hotel, Great Hot Spring & Spa Hotel! The Stay!

Having stayed 5 days at this wonderful property we have learned much why Ilan is so famous for its springs & spa’s

We enjoyed not only an exceptional stay at a truly luxurious room, fitted with its own spa, which we used daily, we had great hospitality all around!

While Ilan isn’t the prettiest city in Taiwan (reminds me of Taipei 37 years ago) it does have its wonderful outskirts, incredible beaches and of course the quality of the water, rich in
Minerals is second to none!

The hospitality of the Hotel was incredible, although the English language isn’t as prevalent as in the capital, the effort by all team members where superb!

We can highly recommend this property, it’s simply a great way to
Relax and enjoy!

2nd best Breakfast we had in Taiwan! (Best was at Méridien Taipei) came down early! 6.30, tried to call service, no one picked up! 😆😆😆, but front office staff super helpful, took me to the restaurant Servers & Cooks super polite, made it happen! Was a good morning! Perfect start to our stay in Ilan! Congrats !

One of the Top 3 hotels in Jiao Xi area run by the Humble House Group. Impressive soaring lobby and great amenities for kids club. The beds were comfortable and the in-room hot springs tub was divine! My only gripe was the lobby lounge "looked" like an immersive part of the lobby so we sat down to wait for Check-In only to discover it's 200NTD for a coffee but it was too late to exit. Had asked for early Check-In and the best they could do was 1:40PM. The public hot spring is across the street in the Residences/Suites but nonetheless a great experience. Would definitely come back again.

Quite a nice hotel, nice decor, reasonable sized room, clean. Excellent service. In room hot springs, or public hot springs are available. Breakfast buffet had a good variety!

Stayed here for 2 nights . I must say the service is beyond amazing! From checking in to the dining and helping to fix the remote at 10pm. The staff service is 100000%

This is a luxurious hotel where it provides a variety of service for customers such as spa and leisure facilities to satisfy customers’ needs as possible as they can! Moreover, the room is clean , tidy and comfortable so that customers can enjoy the atmosphere which is great ,friendly and peaceful ! Meanwhile, it offers plenty of dishes and abundant food to make people satisfied and enjoy their delicious food! Not only have they unique designs buildings but they provide a wonderful and unforgettable experience ! Therefore, I strongly recommend it as your priority and must-visiting list!

5 star well managed hotel in lovely Jiaoxi, with access to real hot spring water. Rooms were huge and modern, in my one even with a Nintendo Switch. Very recommendable.

Luxury hotel with most of the necessary services (swimming pools, billiards, yoga and gym room, children playroom, etc). The diverse buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner and also afternoon tea. The room is really nice, double bed is enough for 2 adults and 1 child. The room facilities are also well-furnished, coffee machine, bed lamp and clock, bluetooth speaker and TV. The toilet and bathroom are Japanese-style design, really convenient and comfortable. It's worth the payment~

Before actually staying there, I knew it was a high end hotel, yet it was way better than I expected. There was Bose wireless speaker in every room (extra benefit for music lover like me), the layout and design of the room was outstanding, and the hot spring was sooo good. In general, the room was excellent in my opinion.

The included breakfast buffet was great too. I really like the truffle butter available with the bread, I'm not a picky eater though.

I didn't interact with the staffs much, but for those I spoke with were extremely friendly.

This is definitely a great place to stay regardless you are looking for somewhere to relax during weekends or you are having vacation in Yilan area and trying to find a place for a quality sleep. Highly recommended!!

Excellent service. The staff was super friendly and accommodating for non-Chinese speaking guests. Facilities were clean. Good food for the dinner buffet. The hot tub in the room was fantastic. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be coming back.

Went on a 2 nights mini getaway during week days, pretty much had the SPA pools and swimming pool by ourselves. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfasts at MU table was decent and pleasant. Great stay for family with kids.

There are a lot of vegan/ vegetarian options at buffet restaurant. Outdoor swimming pool and hot springs areas are not big but good enough.The design of the hotel and the rooms are elegant and relaxing. The staff are smiley, helpful and friendly. It's a great living experience.

Everything is great! Definitely recommend if you want a comfy experience when staying in Yilan.
I had a room of 2 single beds at 12th floor. The view was great. Toilet is separated from bath. HD tv which you can connect your Nintendo switch. First round of drinks and snacks is free of charge.

Beautiful hotel with super comfortable rooms. We booked a family room which had two queen size beds and still lots of room to spare. Polite service, onsen on site, fantastic pool with a slide, and a really good kids playground where the young one can burn lots of energy. Definitely recommend.

Wounderfull place to stay, all rooms have great furniture and incredible Bed linen and towels. Very nice swimming pools with different temperatures. Buffet and breakfast really enjoyable. Great stay you feel pampered.
