It is my favorite wine house in Tainmu, nice and chill vibes, super friendly staff and professional wine knowledge. The price is very reasonable (you can order single glass of house wine at $150, or open a bottle with $100 open fee) and you can bring your own food there.

The wine house usually holds a wine party at the end of each month. All you can drink wines, with self-made salad and desserts. A good chance to enjoy time with friends and meet new friends.

The best place to buy really good wine and get professional recommandation. It is alos a perfect place to have a glass of wine and eat a platter of cheese. And the owners Gregoire and Summer are just fantastic, welcoming and caring!

Le Sommelier is the by far the best wine bar and wine store in the Tianmu section of Taipei. Full selection of wines from the major French wine producing regions, as well as great selections from Italy, Spain, South Africa and other wine producing countries. Since Le Somm is also the direct importer, prices are maintained at a very reasonable level. Throw in a fantastic monthly wine (and food) party each month, and the fact that the owners Summer and Greg are two of the nicest people that you will ever meet, and one has a winning combination.

Best wine selection in town with very knowledgeable staff. It’s also a lovely place to hang out and try a few different wines or to join one of their wine tastings.

A great selection of wine. Staff speaks English so communication is not an issue. The last friday of every month they have a buffet and all you can drink on wine for 1200 NTD. The place is near a Jason market so is easy to find

The range is broad and varied, with frequent new additions. Turnover is fast, which means you won't be buying wine that has been sitting around slowly cooking for years. Prices are reasonable: from very low for Taiwan (sometimes $350) to astronomical as you like. the lower-priced wines are without exception perfectly decent.

Most important of all, this is a professional wine seller who sources all wines himself and uses appropriate transportation and storage methods. It's simply not worth buying wine from supermarkets, with bottles stored upright under constant sources of light and heat, subject to shock and humidity.

The only downside is that this is still a smallish store, so you won't always be able to find exactly what you want (e.g. I couldn't get a Chianti recently), but the gains in terms of quality assurance are unbeatable.
