Babka coffee

Surprised there are so few people in store cos the coffee is awesome! (Ordered cappuccino) The coffee aroma fills the whole cafe. Chill ambience away from the crazy crowd just outside. Highly recommended for coffee drinkers to take a respite here!

Cozy ambience from a serious coffee couple. They even have civet coffee. the variety of beans were diverse, they have Indonesian coffee too.

Stumbled upon this adorable coffee shop. They took care to explain their exquisite coffee types, ground it and did a pour over. It tasted great! What a lovely experience in Jiufen.

This is the first freshly roasted (3 days) and ground (in front of me) Taiwan Alishan coffee that I've found, brewed with a vacuum process. I'll be buying some beans to go!

Babka Café is located at the very tail end of Jiu Fen (九份) and from my conversation with the extreamly friendly auntie (owner), they have actually operated here for more than 20 years 😯👍

They served plenty choices of beans ranging from Alishan (阿里山), Blue Mountain, Gesha to the extreamly expensive Luwak 😱😅. They even have a coffee roaster in the shop and roast their own beans selection.

The couple shared their encounter during the COVID19 pandemic and business has been greatly impacted as customers are now only slowly coming back to Jiu Fen (九份). Hope that they can fight on so my next trip back there have a place for coffee fix ☕👍

Nothing we dislike about this place, but it would be nice if they can add some soft music 🎶 to the background.

Lovely staff and atmosphere in the busy area of JiuFen, perfect place to have a quiet moment with excellent quality of coffee and sweets.

The two owners at the front of the store were so friendly and accommodating! We sat upstairs to eat our food and drink coffee, we didn’t get a window seat but the view looked amazing! The food and coffee is delicious and served with cute origami napkins. We will be back here soon! (Tomorrow!😁)
