A top tier medical center in TW, there are good team work practices for tumor / cancer diseases and there are modern equipments for therapies and treatments!

Taipei VGH is an amazing hospital their staff are always caring and helpful, honest, and highly skilled. I especially like how they are able to quickly understand the bigger picture of needs and take into consideration what you are saying instead of just looking at the problem. Our main physician is Dr Yu-Ping Su whom is an amazing doctor and performs miracles daily. He works along side a team of highly skilled physicians, nurses and other health care workers. Their facilities are state of the art. I am from New Zealand and have been back many times for various treatments. The best hospital I have been to by far. highly recommended.

I hope that all of you are always in good health, and with this I convey and give an opinion, can this big hospital add a washing machine or laundry. because in the Chung Cheng building on the 13th floor there are only 2 washing machines and 2 clothes dryers while the The patient's family is busy queuing for each other to wash. One of the major research hospitals in northern Taiwan. Everything is clean and spacious, the service is friendly, efficient and fast, and they have specialists for most illnesses you can think of. The doctors I've met so far seem knowledgeable and competent, and many speak fluent English. This is the hospital I'd try to go to if anything serious was wrong.
It has two main disadvantages, mainly due to its own success. It is popular, so expect large crowds at the registration desk and apothecary. It is also a humongous maze with multiple large buildings connected by bridges, corridors, paths, and probably tunnels, so you might get lost the first few times you go there.

As a under 18 child I came back for surgery for osteochondroma affecting my thigh. Staff was polite Doctor Wu might rush at some things but when it comes to the serious surgery and things as such he really does do it with care and with caution. They guys made my 1st surgery and my trip back to Taiwan from New Zealand the greatest one yet. Thanks guys you deserve this 5 star it's the least I could do to thank you.
Food is awesome too aswell as accommodation hahaha lol.

As everywhere in Taiwan you need to be annoying and pretending to get things done in a faster manner, but this way the staff was really helpful and efficient .
For first time registrations there’s an English speaking booth that you should use most of the time as it’s usually not occupied .
The doctor I’ve seen was also well educated and spoke good English .( The others should be similar)

Emergency room volunteers and medical staff are all very professional and caring. ICU staff are caring and candid too. Hospital staff do their best to meet patient and family's wish. Giving us tip on how to care for the patient and items that they need to stay overnight.

The nurses and staff helped my family very much during the time we spent there. They went above and beyond, We are very grateful for your kindness and hard work 🙏

I have the privilege of being part of the Taipei Veterans General Hospital and it's world class service. It is a pioneer in medical treatment and has an unmatched medical service. Personally I have the honor to be part of the prestigious Orthopaedic Oncology team as visiting fellow and every day that goes by I continue to be amazed at the hard work and meticulous study of our patients. Taiwan is lucky to have such an wonderful hospital full of dedicated and hard working personnel, and I am truly blessed to be a part of it.

This place is amazing! They treated my friend who speaks no Chinese so kindly and patiently and made sure that she had everything she needed during her stay. Also the food court is like no other hospital food court I have ever seen! I would totally recommend this hospital if you need to go to one.

I was lucky enough to find a good doctor here for my nose, they are professional,it’s of patience, welling to listen and find out your problem, and one of the best is their food sections, didn’t even felt like in hospital, very clean and they also have a cute little pawn, you’ll see some duck and some other birds around. Plenty of space for parking, they also offer free shuttle bus from MRT to their hospital.

We wanted to special thank Dr. Chen Shih-Chin and all his staff for the special care and treatment we've received during my wife' hospitalisation at surgery department ward 101 of Veterans Hospital. We're both foreigners but they did their best efforts to treat us so nicely. Well done, thanks again!

Excellent comprehensive hospital, that's more akin to a city with all and any services available inside. The staff are outstanding and professional. One of the best hospitals in Taipei.

I am traveling abroad, and only speak English - The staff was extremely helpful, and were fully able to communicate what the issue was, where to go, what to expect - and also my visit to the emergency room only took about an hour and half - including bloodwork, getting blood results, and getting the medication I needed - It was a very good experience for me

Great facility Best doctors and nurses every one working really hard to taking care of the patient s saved my life here, also spent 5 years to learn that.
