Qingshan Falls

It is a fun hike to see Qingshan Falls. There are some stairs but also some hiking on flat trails. It is a beautiful hike and the falls are especially pretty. There is a parking lot and restrooms close to the start of the trail. From the parking lot to the falls was about a mile.

Short walking distance from the parking place. Went back from the other trail, the Jianshan Lake Trail 尖山湖步道, which was tough and longer. But get a pretty decent sea view on the top. It took around 20-30 minutes to reach the waterfall from the QingShan Entrance 青山瀑布步道入口 and around 1.5 hour from the waterfall to the exit of Jianshan lake trail. Nice hiking route with shaded trail and small creek around.

The first half of the trail is easy enough even for kids and senior citizens. After you walk past the waterfall, the trail would get steeper, slippery at times. Recommended only to people who are fit and wear sports shoes (no heels or sandals).

It was quite easy to walk up the waterfall. Wear your sneakers or hiking shoes, no sandals or heels as the path is quite slippery towards the waterfall.

Great retreat in hot summer time! Nice and cool with shades of trees and cold water along the waterways!

Short, easy-enough trail for everyone. Nice rock pools to cool off in the summer. Parking spot fills up quickly.

There are a few waterfalls in this mountain. Quingshan waterfall is the popular one. Came here on the weekends was a bad idea, especially in kids’ summer break. It was crazy busy all the way to the waterfall. It’s better to come in weekday.

We took our 23 months baby to 青山瀑布， it is Beautiful place and fresh air, even though we went there on Saturday,it was not crowded , but it’s not easy to bring younger kids to hiking.

步道入口在青山瀑布公車站牌，對面還有青山瀑布免費停車場和公廁。
步道前半段是階段不多的親子級步道，範圍從步道入口到標示1的柱子，路上大多有平穩方正的石階或石板路，輕鬆走大約半小時。但後半段難度跳升，道路型態轉成原始山路，路面以大小高低不一的天然石塊為主，而且因為臨近溪水十分潮濕需注意腳滑，尤其是最靠近瀑布的木棧道地面那真的是滑到不要不要的，根據路標從柱子1到柱子3只有500公尺，但預估步行時間差距要25分鐘，也就是每100公尺要走5分鐘。
最後來回大約花了2個小時多一點，沿途都有樹蔭和溪水相伴，瀑布也很好看，蠻舒服的步道，就算只小走前半段也是可以，入口又有停車場和公廁，還有貓管理員，會讓人願意重複到訪。

即使是走親子路段仍覺得蠻有挑戰性的：有部分路段是原石道路（須小攀爬或跳著石頭走）而非平整石階，再加上部份石頭因接近流水有青苔，很容易踩滑。我不建議年長者前往此地

前半段很好走，正式開始走青山步道時，石塊大小不一且潮濕，小心走。
有洗手間，衛生紙自備喔！
