A fantastic leisure destination, perfect for families. They offer free guided tours (approximately 1 hour) with knowledgeable guides. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and there are occasional activities.
It's more enjoyable on sunny days, and you can even go swimming. On rainy days, it's advisable to dress warmly as it can get a bit chilly with strong winds and rain.
The admission fee is 120 NT dollars, and seniors aged 65 and above receive a 50% discount.

My family came to this Geopark on weekday, Friday. There isn't any crowd. The view is awesome to see the ocean horizon during the walk in the park.
The ticket fare is NT$120 for an adult, Child and Senior is NT$60.
I would recommend tourists to visit this place.

Wonderful place to come for a swim and see fish!! If you forget to bring swimming goggles and a snorkel there's a local shop on the street that sells them, or you can buy them within the souvenir store. There's also a free geology and history tour every weekday at 2:30PM, lasts around 1 hour and the guide takes you around the park and into a restricted area! The cold showers cost 10 NTD for 5 minutes.
The only downside is that there aren't enough lockers. I personally just left my belongings on the long bench by the pool.

Listen to the voice of the ocean, the waves crashing into the rocks, the seagulls flying... Nice place for healing & meditation. Find your inner peace here. Come with your partner, have a heart to heart talk. Quaint & quiet little town off the coast of Kee Lung

🌟 Trip Review: Heping Island Adventure 🌴📸
Just 15 minutes from downtown Keelung, we found ourselves stepping onto the enchanting Heping Island. 🚗 The journey was a breeze, but our excitement soared until we encountered the ticketing hurdle. 🎫 With an outdated system and only one worker, it took us another 10 minutes just to secure our entry. 😅
Undeterred, we shifted gears to capturing Instagram-worthy moments along Keelung Port, where the vibrant rainbow port houses added a pop of color to our feed. 🌈 Snap, snap, snap! 📷
Onward to Heping Island Park, our spirits lifted as we explored the mesmerizing landscape of eroded rocks and animal-shaped formations. 🦕🏞 The park proved to be a haven for youngsters, with several charming cafes adding to the fun. 🍰💃
Approaching the water proved a bit challenging, but the allure of "Heping" (peace in the local language) kept us in high spirits. 🌊🕊 And, oh, the local ladies had their unique style – covering up to avoid the fieldworker tan! 😎☀
Despite the ticket hiccup, Heping Island turned out to be a delightful day trip filled with exploration and laughter. Definitely a spot to add to your must-visit list! ✨🌴 #HepingIslandAdventure #KeelungEscape #IslandExploration 🌟

I love this place; I go almost every weekend to swim. It gets a bit crowded for regular laps when the weather is nice, but there are so few places near Taipei where you can actually swim in the ocean. The water in the basins comes from the ocean (so not a chlorinated pool) and there are quite a few fish. The bottom of the big basin consists of sand, natural rock and ocean plants.
The rest of the island is small, but charming. The rocks formations may not be as grand as Yehliu, but the scenery is lovely, and the location is very accessible for Taipei residents without a car or scooter. There are facilities for swimmers...lockers, hot showers, blow dryers, clothing spinners for wet swim suits, etc. Everything costs, but the costs are reasonable. The gift shop workers are knowledgeable and really try to use English.

A really enjoyable, spectacular park with ocean scenery, sea breeze, unique terrain and geological formations. It can be accessed by taking bus 101 from Keelung station, although buses don't stop directly at the park entrance but a few hundred meters down the road. Fare is NT15 if you happen not to have transportation card and forced to pay in cash. Taxis also often come by so people are not forced to resort to buses only.
There are a small store, restaurants, toilets and other facilities inside the park, entry fee is NT120 for adults, although some discount is available for Keelung residents, elderly etc. Worth the visit on weekdays, on weekends and holidays on the other hand the area tend to be packed.

Best season to visit is not Summer because of the scorching heat but if you will going to swim in the pool area summer is the best time to visit. We paid for $120 NT for the entrance fee. There are also a lot of restaurants inside where you can order drinks.

Unexpected trip here. Wasn’t disappointed at all. The locals/staffs here were so friendly. Was brought here by a lady who came from Taipei. Pretty landforms. Nice seaside. There’s an entrance fee. And the tour up the mountain has specific timings so you will have to check in advance. There’s a swimming pool that mimics the ocean there too. Very cool to swim in the Pacific Ocean. A place to go if you visit Keelung city. The buses here are more frequent than in other parts of Taiwan.

A very special hidden gem. Not much people talk about this place, but it's definitely worth going. You get to see the beautiful view of the ocean and even swim on their ocean pool.
They don't have much food to eat here but one small cafe and restaurant. A great place to chill and relax.

It reminds me of La Jolla San Diego, with all the gorgeous naturally shaped stones. Yes we saw trash sporadically distributed across the region, that came via the ocean. It becomes a great warning and reminder that we should protect our earth not only to people in Taiwan but mostly to people around this Asia pacific beautiful ocean. The trash, spreads far and fast, and should become positive notation to keep our environment clean and enjoyable :)

The place looked stunning. The formation of rocks are with similarities with Yehliu. Really crowded when we visited. Need to wait for a car to exit before to enter the new one.

Nice seaside park to visit in about an hour time. They also have seaside saltwater swimming pool if you want to dip in for a cost. Otherwise the visit around the park for us locals were free of charge. The beautiful scenery is nice on a sunny day. It was nice overall. Avoid the weekend at all cost.
