The building is not new, but the room is great!! Located at 9F.. and the lady staff is very kind.. they also prepared for an extra bed even though we didn't ask for it, because we can fit into a 1 double bed.. and that's a win and we really appreciate it.

Very highly recommended if you will stay at Tamsui for staycation.. 😊😊

Fabulous location between various local street eats and the famous Tamsui Old Street, this tiny boutique hotel is a hidden gem! I was greeted by the charming receptionist at the elevator who kindly guided me to a few local eats while keeping my luggage safe since I arrived before check-in time. Not only were Irene’s recommendations fabulous, she made sure my room got cleaned first so I could check-in early and get settled in. When I asked about some travel logistics to the venue for my event, she kindly figured out the bus route for me and anticipated my various other travel needs.

As you can see from the photo, the room is nice and clean, with complementary beverages and hot water machine for those of you that like to make tea or coffee on the spot.

Seriously though, beyond being nice and clean, it’s the concierge like service that really sets the place apart. I would recommend this place whole heartedly without reservation!

This hotel was the highlight of our stay in Taiwan, it doesn't look much from outside (actually it's hard to find from outside) but the room was very modern, clean, spacious, with hot water in the room, a huge TV and a view of the city from the 9th floor. What a great hotel is hidden there! Staff extra helpful ready to make your stay the most comfortable.

I was a bit concerned when I booked my hotel, but it turned out that it is a great hotel to stay in Tamsui, New Taipei City, Taiwan. I have a mountain view room. Even though they have offered me to switch to ocean view for the half of my stays, but I’m very satisfied with the mountain view. The room #5 has became my home for 14 days. The hotel’s location is very convenient, walking distances to the famous Tamsui Old Street, MRT station and many other tourist attractions. The hospitality is great, love all the staff there. I’m sure that I will be returning to Open Room Hotel in the future.

We loved our stay at the Open Room Hotel! Our room had a lovely view of the water and the city from the 9th floor. It’s about 6-8 minute walk from Tamsui MRT station and is very close to the markets and old street!

The hotel is a little hard to find at first, but look for the Bank of Taiwan, it’s basically the same building. You might need to use their call system from outside the building door when you first get in to be let into the building proper.

Another thing to plan for is that the front desk doesn’t open until 9 or 9:30 and closed early in the night, so that does make it difficult if you come into town super early and want to drop off your luggage. Not impossible, but just something to be aware of!

I will tell you about my experience spent the night here. the place is very clean, lady is very friendly, beautiful, kind, enthusiastic..the view from the 9th floor is very beautiful. they gave a pretty little cake for my birthday. they gave me an early check in because it was raining very heavily..they gave a good direction, to get to the hotel so that we were easier. near the flower market that will occupy our eyes. Very close to Tamsui tourist area and station. thank you open room hotel😚😚🥰🎂

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Open Room Hotel. The room was clean and modern. The location is great - only a few minutes walk to nearby attractions. The staff was super helpful and and provided us tips on where to find good local food!

We stayed in open room hotel for 1 night. It was fantastic, made special by Irene Chen and another lady colleague of hers. They were helpful with any information that you need. There is always this friendliness that you find in Taiwanese. These people make our trip memorable and special.

Tamsui is a great tourist destination. 淡水openroom景觀時尚旅店 OPEN ROOM hotel is convenient to go anywhere. 5 minutes from the Tamsui station, Tamsui Ferryboat Wharf, Night market, and many restaurants near the hotel. There is a beautiful promenade the riverside. The room was cleaned very well. and I would like to thank the staff for their kind service. It's a really recommended hotel.

Hotel is clean and tidy. Rooms are really nice. Very comfortable bed, best nights sleep I've had since I arrived in Taiwan 2 months ago.

服務很好，位置剛好在逛完老街後就可以入住非常方便，我選的是可看海景房
有個台子可以坐在那邊非常舒服，隔音蠻好的完全沒有聽到隔壁間的聲音。

因為自己的疏忽把東西遺留在飯店
服務人員也很好的直接寄給我
非常感謝🙏，未來有到淡水還是會選擇

櫃檯人員非常的細心貼心服務超好，房間乾淨整潔裝潢舒適，房間裡甚至有飲水機很不錯。我們住山景or河景房？但景觀不算非常好（有許多低矮樓房作前景）。吹風機固定在浴室且要一直按著按鈕才能吹風，對長頭髮住客不太友善。總體來說還是很值得推薦！！

終於知道評價高的原因了！服務非常細膩貼心～飯店很乾淨！
雖然是住宅商辦混合的大樓，一開始不習慣，但到了飯店的空間就覺得很舒服
房間地板都很乾淨，踩起來很舒服

最喜歡大窗戶下的一排長長座椅，靠在窗戶邊看淡水河和觀音山，好愜意（要訂河景房）

旅店雖然不是豪華或很大，把基本的環境清潔維持得很好，店長也非常親切，過了下班時間，也會使用LINE及時回覆，一踏進旅店店長很熱情招，有被飯店耽誤的SPA店的既視感 :D 另外，房間有景觀窗可以看到市景和些許海景，很療愈～走路幾分鐘就到捷運站了，大包小包忍耐一下下即可～
