It was very good weather that day. All of us was so excited. When you go there they have free parking( if you go early). There is a clean toilet at the entrance. You can start hiking by the road directly from the entrance next to the car parking from the left side. Then in 10 mints you will see some stairs. Half hour you need to go by stairs then ones you are up then you can see good view. Later you need to climb 2 mountains to reach the peak. You can come down with 2 way. But I will suggest the way you go down to the parking because you will have small beautiful park and fountains there. Total hike takes 6 hours with enjoyment. Bring lot of water and some food.

1076 meters above the sea level. You can take bus from Taipei to Erziping and walk up to hear. Alternatively you can ride your scooter or drive up to the peak.
