Dongdamen Night Market

The night market visit was a lively and immersive experience, offering a vibrant atmosphere filled with colorful lights and energetic crowds. This is a great place to experience some Taiwanese delicacies and just hang out.

Its setting is more like build-up stalls than pop-up ones found in other night markets.

The number of stalls are also much larger and more structured in its setting.

It also offers sit-down tables for those who like to dine-in.

The quality of food is also much higher.

In addition, there are also lots of stalls selling souvenirs and other goods.

On different corners, there are also buskers performing which are very entertaining.

One of the biggest night market in hualien with over 400+ stalls. This place is not something would want to miss if you ever visit hualien

My partner and I visited 3 cities and half a dozen night markets in Taiwan during our 2 week trip, and Dongdamen is without a doubt our absolute favourite one. It’s spacious, clean, full of varieties and options. I love that there are lots of aboriginal food which is quite special. Fair prices and I love that there are multiple places with staff helping to sort out the recycling - makes me feel a bit better about the amount of single use plastic waste I help created.

A very nice nightmarket. Plenty of different games and so many different kind of food and snacks to choose from. The market is very clean and modern. Their are many big areas with tables and chairs so you can sit down and eat the things you have bought. Something I miss a lot in other nightmarkets.

A must see if you visit Hualien. Lots of great street food. Games for the kids. Live music on the weekends. Good family fun.

This night market is really big. There are many traditional foods and fun games in here. People are so passionate. Love it so much.

整體來說是一個會推薦給朋友來逛的地方~

與家人來花蓮旅遊，晚餐選擇在花蓮東大門夜市晚餐，第一次來此夜市。

夜市面積大，環境規劃不錯，算是難得乾淨的一個夜市，吃完夜市身上沒有沾滿食物的味道。

垃社集中在一個地方，有兩位先生在做分類，挺酷的，第一次看到這樣子的。

在原民一條街的一個廣場上，有一對街頭藝人，唱歌很好聽，難得在夜市能夠聽到歌聲夠又唱得非常好的，女生和男生輪流唱，在旁邊小吃攤吃飯，邊聽歌非常幸福。
