Wang Tea House

Nice place to chill out. The milk tea is nice and smooth, and you can adjust the sugar levels of the various drinks there. The food is quite nice, especially the har kau, fried squid balls, fried bean curb with prawn. Price is quite reasonable.

Good service and very delicious food. Not expensive prices. Recommend if you're around here. Atmosphere make me feel peaceful. Mushroom with set was very yummy.

Its delicious, the tea is also taste awesome! I love it. The place is also good, with family, friend, or even alone. The service is okay, its just if u r on the second floor, you have to go to first floor to order.

Ordered beef hotpot, and the bubble tea gets a TWD $50 discount. Halfway through eating our hotpot soup gets too thick as it has been boiling for quite a long time, but we were able to top up hot water to our soup (complimentary). We also ordered Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) which comes with tofu , half an egg , and cold green tea for TWD $80. I love that the place is very spacious and we can eat slowly without feeling pressurised to leave. Overall for the ambience, food quantity and food quality , it’s really worth it! We spent TWD $443 for 2 pax.

One of the few restaurants to be opened late in Jiufen. And they welcomed us with a smile, which is not always the case here (since it’s so touristic). The food wasn’t that amazing but they do deserve a nice review. Good atmosphere at night, even after the lanterns are all off.

The spicy sauce fried chicken was delicious. The teriyaki pork cutlet sauce was a little bit strange unlike normal teriyaki sauce. Otherwise food was not bad. Rice bento set comes with a egg-seaweed soup and a little side dish.

We were looking for a place to eat late dinner in Hualien. This seemed to be one of the few places open and we were not disappointed. We had sesame noodles, fried tofu, french fries and pork noodles, and a pot of ginger tea which was very strong and tasty! Service was great, we were even offered free black tea, maybe they had some left over and didn't want to toss it since we were the last customers. Good find!

CLASSY, GROUP-FRIENDLY, DELICIOUS. Plenty of small local dishes as well as dozens upon dozens of drinks. The interior design of the restaurant is clean, elegant, and spacious. You need to order at the counter and you seat yourself upon entry.

Walked past this place as it was near my hotel and had dinner there. Very nice interior and very huge seating area. Ordered the chicken cutlet set and it was really good. It was very crispy and doesnt taste oily. U get 50nt off when u order a tea with the set. Lovely meal overall and i will come back again.

Great food and the bubble tea was amazing!!! I thought it was cheap despite other reviews. The staff were lovely and the menu was in English with photos as well. The place was nicely decorated.

Absolutely loved it. Incredible tea and high quality food. Decor is gorgeous. A must-visit spot! Best meal we’ve had in Taiwan! (We had snapper, milkfish, sweet potato leaves, and radish cakes - all spectacular.)

This is one of the best cafés I've seen in Taiwan, I come here whenever I'm in Hualien. The interior is calm and peaceful, decorated in classic southern Chinese style. Big windows allow you to see the courtyard, with pine trees and beautiful ponds full of koi fish (and a turtle!). The music compliments their wide selection of teas and food. Highly recommended.

Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all amazing! You will definitely be able to find something for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all at a very reasonable price. There are 2 locations in Hualien as of April 2023, and I hope to see more across Taiwan in the near future!
For first time visitors:
1) Pick a table (any table) that has a little menu on a skinny clip board.
2) Write down your table number (front of table) on the menu, and mark your selections
3) Head to the cash register at the entrance to place your orders and pay for your meal.
This is where you will also be asked how you’d like your teas (sugar and ice levels).
4) A few receipts will then be provided, one of which is a list that the servers will check off as they are brought to you. So keep this on the table with the clipboard!

The breakfast set was good. Although it’s a bit pricy but with the environment. I think it’s worthy.

They have lots of fish and a couple Turtles! Great atmosphere! The tea was some of the best I've had in Taiwan (which is the best place in the world), and the food was excellent.

Highly recommend the fish rice. Comes with side vegetable dish and ice tea. Atmosphere is beautiful with the lively kois in the ponds.
