Fancy Lake Yeashow Villa

A good alternative to the other hotels on the old street. The Villa is in the middle of the old street.
The rooms are clean and don't have a water boiler. The Curtains can't be closed completely and hot water in the shower is only available from 5pm to 10 pm. Water dispensers with hot and regular water are always available though and the staff is very nice.

Loved the location! Super easy to find— right in front of the train station exit!
Staff was vv friendly and even gave us a free room upgrade as there was a travel agency at the floor we were suppose to stay at. Even gave us a run down of what to do around the hotel at Feng qi hu.

I really enjoyed my stay here for one night. The worker was nice and took the time to explain the area to us. They upgraded my friend and I to a bigger room, and it was very spacious and comfortable. They provided nice warm blankets for the winter.

The staff was very friendly and spoke English. They brought us to see the fireflies for free and provided information on how to see the sunrise. The rooms were very clean and looked even better than the pictures. They have hot water and provide filtered drinking water. Overall great experience.

Over 8 nights and this is the 1st hotel with bidet sprayer, considering their toilet paper disposal policy, every hotel should have install one. Hotel provides very detailed info on hiking trails and bento eats. Very clean room.

Helpful English-speaking staff who will give you all the advice you need for exploring Alishan. Room was really spacious and filtered water is available on the 1st and 2nd floors. Excellent location to do the trails around the town. 5 mins walk from bus station and even less to the train station. Perfect and great value for money.

The owner is very friendly. He will suggest the routes to wander around Fenqihu and which restaurant should you go to try the best "railway food". A printed map will be provided upon request. Room is bright and spacious too.

Located on the old street of Fenqihu, where shops and eateries are located. However the first night we were there, it was the midst of 2 typhoons, Nesat and Haitang, so all shops close except for 7-11. The owner of the hotel (who is also the village chief) trested us to a home cooked meal with his family. The hotel is at about 1400 feet above sea level. The owner gave us a choice of 2 rooms, 1 with direct mountain view and the other with only partial view. We chose the latter, because the other is a tatami bed. After dinner, the owner's father treated us to good Alishan tea. The tea was good, got rid of my 4 days cough. Really marvellous.

Nice place to stay....easy access to奮起湖老街. Just in case you have too much fun in Alishan and miss the bus, they provide pick up service from 石棹 (100per person)

Fantastic place n services from Yeashow Villa. We able to serve by the hotel owner/village head, our room get upgraded to bigger room, and recommend lot of local attraction place n food to us, and even help us arrange transport to alishan (with special discound). Yeashow Villa is soing upgrading to give better experience to their customer. Very good experience stay n visit to yeashow villa.

Super comfy and tucked away in the quiet village of Fenqihu mountains. I was immediately greeted by Anna, who speaks great English! She helped me plan my day in the town of Fenqihu including mapping out some nearby hikes. She then gave me all the instructions for meeting a group going to Alishan mountain for the sunrise hike tomorrow! Definitely happy with my stay here. Also the hotel is a much better price than staying in the actual Alishan town!
