Wow wow wow!!! The amazing view + food is really the BEST we had in Taiwan!!! It only cost TWD 350!! The set comes with a BBQ Smokey pork, juicy tender chicken and amazing fragrant sausage! We had Ai Yu for dessert as well!!! Do remember to book in advance!

The best possible dinner experience in Alishan near our 民宿. Grilled meats with authentic local Taiwanese dishes in such a warm relaxing atmosphere with light jazz music. This was an absolute oasis after a long drive from Taipei. To take note that the restaurant only opens from 5-7.30pm, get there early, take the seats facing the scenery and enjoy a delicious dinner.

The view took our breathe away the moment we walked in. Come before the sunset and reward yourself this unique dining experience. Home style cooking, the glutinous rice was exceptionally delicious. Though the menu and review photos look a tad meaty, they do have some vegetarian options ie seasonal veg and tofu dishes. The wait staff was kind enough to explain their menu offerings to us. Parking in front of the restaurant and along the road side can be limited so come early. Reservation is recommended if you want the table with the best view 😊

It was a sunny day and the scenery view is superb, food is in big portion and delicious.

If you coming down from Alishan, definitely worth to go this little place on the way. Yummy BBQ pork and Taiwan sausage, and so much different food you can never find in big cities. Suprisely, not expensive , we had very good value meal with a breath taking view!

Best BBQ mountain pork we've ever had! You can see the valley from your table--love the view. Their millet wine and Gaoliang wine are both very good, too.

Very nice native food. Price are reasonable too. Starting from NTD300 per person. Recommend to have own transport to get there. Nice mountain view too if you are there before sunset else too dark to see anything.

The food served for dinner is aboriginal cuisine and includes BBQ mountain pork. It is a set menu and priced depending on the amount of people you have. Some dishes can be changed for others or added on to the set menu.
The atmosphere at night with the lights, wooden furniture, and the view made dinner very enjoyable.

One of the best meals we had in Taiwan! It's set meal for $350 NT/person (adult). The bbq meat and sausage are really good and well balanced by the very fresh fried sesonable vegetables. But do not note of their early dinner hours! Last serving time is 6pm.

Loved the foods and the view. NT300 pp Defos worth every penny. Bamboo rice is my favorite!

Probably the most worth visiting dining place in Alishan (Mt. Ali). Surrounding by green mountains overlook a small valley, the view is very pleasant on sunny days, but even more wonderland-like in the fog. The aboriginal cuisines are delicious, especially the BBQ. The dining environment is also clean and chill, way better than other similar places I've visited in Taiwan. Kids friendly, reasonable price, strongly recommended if you are visiting the Alishan.

Cool and special restaurant that stands on the slope beside the way, worth a visit! Half of the seat area is open to the hills behind without window, and thus it has nice view to the wide nature.
The house is wooden, decorated with some aboriginal totem and accessories, giving a quaint feeling. Their cuisines are locally supplied and prepared in traditional Tsou tribe's style, very zestful! The price is fairly good for the portion is made according to the number of people. It is very recommended to taste their food when one travels here!

Local food at its finest. The roasted wild pig was AMAZING. Dine with a view of mountains and tea fields. Price is right.

This restaurant offers great view and serves good coffee. They have a set menu which costs $200 which I suggest everyone trying. At the time I already had a meal before coming here so I just got the a cup of coffee and the grilled aboriginal pork, which was delicious but made me regret not getting the set menu. As I was leaving I chatted with one of the cook who spoke perfect English. She explained to me a lot about the aboriginal culture, and one of the desserts they served here, which was also on the set menu. At that point I really regret not getting the set menu.

Anyways the moral of the story is to get the set menu even if you're full because you will not regret it.

Best BBQ food so far in Taiwan. We had Sausage, Pork loin, rice in bamboo and 2 Cold beers. Great views. Friendly staff. Toilets. Parking a bit difficult on side of road but totally worth a lunch stop. 320 TWD total.
