公園內有舊北投車站和一列藍皮火車可參觀，假日還有市集可以逛逛，距離捷運站非常近地下有停車場交通方便。

七虎公園座落在北投溫泉區，離新北投捷運站步行只要2分鐘即可到達，一旁緊鄰七虎游泳池與七星公園。公園佔地3000多坪，有林蔭步道、涼亭及兒童遊戲場，適合親子遊憩。

公園在2021年時進行景觀改善工程，優化周邊景觀與水岸空間，讓環境更舒適，同時還打造全新的特色遊戲場，設置原木攀爬遊具與天梯、磨石子溜滑梯、彈跳床、多人搖擺盤。

改造後周邊環境變的更明亮舒適，還多了座景觀跨橋，連接水岸二側，可欣賞水岸風景，另一側也有成人體健設施。鄰近的七星公園有超大的草皮空間、日據時期的新北投車站、手湯等設施，假日常有熱鬧活動。
