As the name suggests, it’s a sulphuric warm water around 40-60’c

Good for feet bath. We felt relaxed after feet bath and clears our foot pain during our journey :)

It’s free. Always spare a thought for the next person and do NOT wet where you sit.

Rare scenery of an abandoned sulphuric mine that dates back to the Qing Dynasty. The deep roar from the open sulphur pits shakes one’s soul. Breathe the slightly sulphuric air. Amenities are ok, there are public washrooms, trails, car park and resting area around.

A strong fumes caused by Sulfur. It's nice to walk around but really hot. As it's the effect of the chemical itself.

Just loved it. If yo like nature and geology, this is a really cool place to go. The hydrothermal vent are just huge. I did that at the end of the afternoon and it was perfect. There a plenty of bus around so that is handy!

This area is easy to access, offers a few viewpoints and some explanations in English.
You can really smell the sulfur and feel the heat of the area. The lake has splendid colours and the flowers behind make it really scenic.
It's probably one of the most beautiful spot in the area.

Free entry. Cool place to check out the sulfur mining area. There's also a place to take a footbath in the hot spring water. Nice place to visit if you're in 北投

Great place for looking at the hot springs and enjoying them. I visited it in the end of January-beginning of February, so there were not too much people. You can also soak your feet there. Toilet is also available. There are small stories about the place in different places. At the top of the place, there is a geyser-like spring. It is spitting hot water and steam frequently.

Great place! Lots of nice views. Be sure to come in cloudy/cold weather. There's a free spot to soak your feet in hot sulphur water.

To reach here, take bus S7 or S9 or 129. (Don't take S25, it stops far away).

The volcanic landscape is characteristic of YangMingshan National Park in Taiwan. In the "Liuhuanggu", you can enjoy the volcanic landscape and natural scenery, you can also take a walk along the trail, and finally go to the hot spring foot bath.

Hidden gem where you soak in natural hot spring water in a public and sheltered soaking pool. Be sure to bring a to wipe dry your legs after the soak and rinsing off. Can get crowded with locals.
