Applause in the Mountain 掌聲響起民宿

I had a wonderful experience staying there. It is beyond expectation! A 5 star-like accommodation in Alishan. Upon arrival, the staff helped us to bring down the luggage. At the check-in, we were so thankful that we got an upgraded room! Everyone was so friendly and service-minded. Our room was spacious with a wooden floor and high quality. The property is contemporary, clean, and well-maintained. The decor is stylish, like a vacation villa. In the morning, I walked around the area and enjoyed the natural. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options in a scenic restaurant. Btw, their home-made coffee was a bonus worth trying. The location is close to attractions and convenient to get around. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. When leaving, the host was so sweet as to driving us to the bus stop. I would definitely send friends here!

The room was super clean with a nice big balcony with a fantastic view over the tea fields and mountains.

The shower had very hot water which was needed as the temperature dropped in the evening to 10 degrees. 🥹

The receptionist and service people were super friendly, and we felt really welcoming.

The location is fabulous! It's like a balsam for your soul where you can just let go and be with nature.

Ps. You need a car or a motorbike to get there easily, as the next bus station we saw was 3-5km away.

Beautiful, idyllic hotel surrounded by lush tea fields. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with everything we needed. Only after checking in did we realise that we were at least an hour early, but reception didn't give us a hard time about it at all.
We didn't try the hotpot dinner, but the breakfast was good, and the coffee was some of the best we've had in Taiwan yet. The sunrise trail is an absolute must-see, even though we were a bit unlucky with the heavy fog.
The only issue we had was with a group of tourists that was being loud in the common area next to our room, but we can't really fault the hotel for this.

Exceptional location, clean and spacious rooms and a stunning view of tea plantations set to the backdrop of mountains. The owners and their staff were conscientious and very accommodating. For lunch they serve hotpot with fresh local ingredients. Highly recommended, I am looking forward to returning soon.

Incredible !!!! Everything about Applause in the Mountain was incredible!!! Amazing peaceful views available from your room, the room was upgraded and remodeled but kept a quirky local charm, and the hot pot dinner was substantial and delicious. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. The staff were all incredibly helpful too. But if you need to get some work done, the WiFi is fast and reliable and the TV has like 700 channels in all languages.

Tip: you really need a car to get here. If you’re taking the tourist bus, you should take the first available one because it takes about 3 hrs to get here from Chiayi HSR and the staff will send someone to grab you from the nearest bus stop at Fushan stop.

This place is totally worth it and we want to come back!!

Great view overseeing local tea farm. Great location. Very near Alishan and close to a spot to watch sunrise. The breakfast and dinner provided are great with plentiful vegetarian options.

The reception was very helpful. Transport can be arranged to be picked up to and fro from the bus station.The room was surprisingly high tech, clean and spacious paying details to bathroom amenities, signage and very unique interior decor. There's even a hot water dispenser so you no need to boil your own water. Highly recommend this place to stay for a night or two in Alishan. Dinner price at 380Taiwan dollars and I think it's pretty decent.

The rooms are spacious and you the view from balcony faces the tea plantation. However, if you have adults with walking difficulties, it is not recommended as there are flights of rocky stairs to take in order to go out.

Cosy and clean homestay! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning on hiring a driver as this homestay is quite a distance from the main road. Breakfast is average, with choices of porridge or toast. Dinner in the homestay was individual hotpots, costing around NTD350. The spread was good but the soup was a bit too bland for our liking. However, we didn’t have much choice as there are no other dining options around the homestay.

The location is superb. The coffee is disgusting (for Westerners) and breakfast is traditional Chinese. No tea to be had whilst surrounded by a tea estate!!

Quite a nice and quiet place, there is steam boat dinner at NT390 per person

1/23到達民宿辦理入住登記很快速，意外的驚喜～房間被升等為景觀二大床的房間，我和朋友太開心了，房間很乾淨，Wi-Fi直接連結太方便，房間內還有一台飲水機，不用再到房外取用，真的很貼心！

晚餐吃餐廳的味噌火鍋🍲，菜色豐富、量很多，白飯更提供吃到飽，太佛心的民宿👍早餐也很棒喔👍

整體感覺很滿意深得我心❤下次來阿里山一樣要入住掌聲響起民宿👍

房間很舒服，山頂房的景色好，在陽台賞景喝茶，好放鬆。
民宿管家小智和郭小姐，超親切超友善，也很熱心的提供資訊，讓我們能看到美麗的日出和享受森林浴，謝謝你們。

I like to add a few words, I had a wonderful and unforgettable time there thanks to so kind and caring hotel staff. They were so sweet and helpful. For sure I would go back.

優點：
房間乾淨，飲水機在房間內，水也是乾淨的，有定期清洗，床很大，睡起來很舒服，棉被香香的，沒有毛髮殘留，有日立冷、暖氣

缺點：
木屋關門有的人用甩的很吵
隔音不太好
外面陽台有人講話會很吵
房間內沒有椅子，需要要去搬陽台的

整體還不錯👍
旅客的素質也很重要‼

提醒氣候不佳要提早上山，當天五點多從奮起湖轉去民宿下雨，山區起霧，轉彎進去通往民宿的道路上沒有路燈，可以說是根本看不太到路，路況不熟的情況下，蠻危險的，建議提早去民宿。

房間很舒服，床很好睡，景觀很好，旅途的疲憊都消散了。
從民宿走到福山古道看日出只要20分鐘路程，非常方便！
