Jing Tai Wan Hotel

Spent 3D2N in this hotel and we feel like staying longer. The area is comparatively quite, most especially since it's off peak season... We got a room upgrade, thought it was free but we only got 1 dinner instead of 2 despite buying 2 nights of the "tea-experiencing & accommodation package" from the website, so I guess it cancelled out.

Slightly further away from the centre of activities but shuttle service to and fro the nearby tourist spots is available upon request at the counter. Don't be shy to ask, the staffs are very friendly and accommodative.

We had a room with a balcony with a magnificent view on the mountains like you are in a painting.
Everything is very clean and convenient. Warm and cold water dispenser available with tea.
Service and food in the restaurant are very good!

The service is the top. Every staffs are so patient and friendly. Food is great with lots of choices. The room is clean and amazing view with the balcony. Highly recommend to anyone visit xitou!

Nice view with spacious balcony and woody interior design. Bathtub is a surprise. Breakfast is okay. Will visit again.

This place is absolutely adorable! The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and unique, and the room is clean and very reasonably priced considering it is right off of the main attraction. Do not worry that it looks slightly far away from Monster Village on Googlemap. This place offers free shuttle service whenever you need it! Highly recommend this place. Will come back if I have a chance.

I'm a traveler with no car and got here via train and bus. It was very easy to navigate.

The view is fantastic and the hotel breakfast is very healthy with a local flavor. The air is fresh and one is woken up by the chirping birds surrounding one. They also sell their own tea and the lady at the counter is upbeat and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone who would love a relaxing mountain holiday during the winter.

This place is marvelous. It's extremely convenient as the bus literally stops in front of the hostel. And they offer a ride to Xitou bus stop and monster village.
The room and view was spectacular. Everything is build of wood which gives a elegant and chic design. The room is spacious, cozy, and very clean. With the windows facing the woods and mountains, you are guaranteed a refreshing morning as you enjoy a sip of tea and some stretching every morning on the balcony.
Many options for breakfast and dinner and the quality was not bad at all.
The highlight of this place is the warm reception. The service is nonetheless heart-warming, with everyone being very passionate and helpful and I enjoyed an awesome time here, will definitely come back if I re-visit Xitou!! Highly recommend.

A wonderfully helpful staff ensured I had a great visit. This includes suggesting where to go and how to get there, one member of staff even waiting with me at the bus stop to ensure that I got on the right bus and the driver knew where I wanted to get off. They also have a collection of cars they use to take you to the local sights for free, dropping you off at Xitou and the bus station and other nearby places with no advance booking needed.

The room was excellent, clean and had a wonderful jet stream bath in there (I was in a double room). A little disappointed that they only had soap rather than liquid shower gels but everything else such as a razor, toothbrush and paste etc is provided.

Breakfast was good although if you are looking for a western style breakfast you will be disappointed.

The dinner available was good but I would say it is a touch more expensive then what you can get hold of at other nearby places to eat.

Overall a great hotel that I would advise getting in touch with before you even set foot in Taiwan as I am sure they will be able to advise you on things to make your stay more enjoyable.

Very refreshing and close to nature. A good getaway for tourists looking for clarity and seeking beauty in nature. Would definitely want to visit again if given the chance!

This is a very good family run hotel. Elegant wood rooms. Beautiful views from the rooms. The owners are very friendly. You get the chance to try out authentic Taiwan tea. We recommend it!

A family run business with good services. Allowed early check in depending on availability of rooms. They also provide free transport to Xitou Nature Park as well as Monster Village.

It’s a really beautiful hotel, with wood everywhere. The view is a lot better than anticipated. The people here are really nice and welcoming. Breakfast is wonderful.

Friendly greetings and speedy check-in. Specious and clean room with quiet environment when window is closed. Strong recommended for future stay.

I would say this is one of the best place to stay at in shitou. We are surrounded by mountains from all side and I would definitely come back again

The food here is really good and price is reasonable.
Their fried rice is good.
