茶香花園民宿

This B&B in the mountains of Alishan exceeded our expectations. From the courtyard right outside your room you have a vast mountain range. Take a slow day sipping on locally grown tea and taking in the views. The host provided an unobstructed sunrise spot a short walk away, but I found the best views were from the courtyard.

The provided free breakfast was delicious and can be eaten in the courtyard or the dining room. As we had stayed 2 nights, they even switched it up on the second day so we had something different!
There is a hotpot menu for dinner which was delicious as well. Nice quality beef and pork.

The staff were really helpful and lovely. We definitely felt welcome, even with a small language barrier. I would definitely recommend you to stay here

You definitely need a car - but you should rent one anyway, it's the best way to explore Alishan. Roads are quiet and I had no problems driving around.

Very beautiful place with clean and tidy rooms. The boss is very knowledgeable with the area and helped to plan an amazing itinerary for us. It is also conveniently located near a bus stop which is connected to nearby attractions like Alishan and Fenqihu. Really recommend this place!

The boss, Ricky, is very hospitable. He is very helpful and even share his knowledge on tea brewing with us. His family owns a tea farm just next to the hotel. The environment is great, overlooking great mountain and with cloud surrounding it. Able to see Sunrise when the sky is clear! Room is well maintained with heater in the toilet to warm up the toilet in case we catch a cold. Temperature is cooling throughout the day. Strongly recommend everyone to go for this unique hotel :-)

Breathtaking views! Amazing hospitality, boss and staff went out of the way to drop us off at a local dining place. The rooms are cozy and clean. Apparently, you can see the sunrise just 5 minutes away but unfortunately it was cloudy during our stay. Breakfast is average only so don't expect too much.

Would give 6/5 stars if I could. This place was so beautiful, rooms well furnished and clean, and the service staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Best of all, the owner—Ricky—was the best host we ever had. He drove us in his car to lunch and meal spots and back to the b&b for free, since we didn’t have a car. He also sat down to have tea and chat with us during the night to tell us more about Taiwan.

It's a very beautiful place. We haven't got to see the sunrise very well because of thick clouds but the minsu is just near the site where you can see it. The owner was really really kind. He arranged a car for us when we wanted to go to Fenchihu for the fireflies. Highly recommended!!

P.S. Thank you to the driver for taking us to Fenchihu and to her girlfriend who was his translator. Totally loved the experience!! 🤞👍

Very comfortable rooms, lovely staff, stunning view of sunrise over the mountains!

The owners and staff are very friendly. Room and facilities are clean. There is sunrise view just 2 minutes walking away. Overall it’s a very good experience staying there.

The environment and decor was wonderful and refreshing. The owner was extremely hospitable and made all of us feel at home with his service.
