中興製茶廠Alishan Oolong Tea Farm

The owner and his family are so friendly. The tea fields they maintain are absolutely beautiful. We stopped here early morning on our trip up Alishan. The tea-tasing was really educational, and the teas were really good. My dad loves tea and is a huge tea connoisseur, and he was so excited talking to the owner. You can definitely tell why this tea farm has won so many awards! Would definitely recommend stopping here if you are a tea lover.

We liked the place so much. It is not the site which is spectacular, it's the tea and the people who present and sell it to you. This tea is perfect quality and you know immediately when you smell and taste it and why it is one of the high ranked teas in Taiwan. Go there you'll love it and you take some speciality home!

Highly recommend visiting this tea farm! We stopped here on our drive from Alishan. The tea was excellent and extremely high-quality. The farm is owned by a family who are all passionate about tea. If you have 30 mins to an hour, it’s worth the stop!

You will not regret a stop here. Here you can see the tea growing and processing to their amazing products which includes oolong as well as alishan black tea which is unique in the way the tea is rolled into balls as well as conventional black tea. Also they grow and sell coffee here. The coffee is pricy but really good. If you are lucky enough, limited supply of tea seed oil. Super nice folks.

We got to take great pictures, and met with the tea master! He took us into the tea processing rooms to show us the tea making process. So amazing and so intricate!!

Despite the language issues, owners went out of their way to explain their tea tasting and the visit of their factory. Definitively worth a stop on the way to/from Alishan. Don't forget to buy some tea!

We got to try some wonderful oolong tea produced here in their factory. Learned a lot about the tea making process and how Alishan is famous for their oolong tea. I do recommend coming here to buy some tea to enjoy at home.

We came in the late evening after dinner to visit the factory and the owner was kind enough to bring us through the various types of oolong tea.
They carry the clear leaf and sun dried leaf variety, and they do provide on the spot demonstration and tea tasting.
