Jinguashih(Gold Ecological Park)

Glad I went to this place! Don't miss this out if you are already in Jiufen. The place is quiet and cool specially if you go all the way up to the Japanese shinto temple which offers a freat view of Jinguashih!

Great place to visit if you are making your way to Taipei from the south. You can touch a giant piece of gold and you can have gold panning and Benshan No.5 Tunnel Experience. Since the Japanese took over Taiwan once, there is a gold mine manager’s house which was completely reconstructed but reusing the materials and a delicious miner’s lunch box (a metal lunch box with what miners used to eat). Tickets are 80NT and I recommend you to come here at a partly sunny day, as you do not want too much heat because you will be walking, and not too cold because you will get very cold in buildings.

I really loved the views here. It's very relaxing. Don't forget to stop by the golden waterfalls!

A place that really left a lot of impression on me, a trip to learn about history with a very creative and elaborate layout of the exhibition booths, the works still retain their daily light, That brings you back to a historical period where people conquered nature. This place is high in the wilderness, so the air is fresh, we went hundreds of steps to reach the top of the mountain, though we were tired, we did it. At the foot of the mountain is a bustling dining and shopping area with many guests from many countries in the world proving this is an attractive and famous place. Conclusion, this is a journey so memorable!!
