Yinyang Sea

Yin and Yang Bay, there is any region in Taiwan with nature fenomena, you may see the yellow and blue colour on this sea.. is so named because it looks like Yin and Yang symbol due to impurities in the runoff from the old mines that run into ocean near harbor. It's unique but because human greed can change the nature, Yin and Yang for taoism is symbol of balancing, in this nature everything will balance.. none of them are trully white or black.. everything will work in balance ☯

Amazing view and colors of the rocks and sea. There's a viewing deck you could stand on top and view the sea + a pretty scenery directly opposite the sea. Be sure to head down to the roadside for a closer view of the yinyang sea while enjoying cool breeze.

Another amazing wonder of nature. Our hirer stop and show us the sea. Nice seaview with two different colors! There is a viewing deck where you can stand on top for a nicer view. The sea breeze is very comfortable. You also can overview the 十三层废墟.

Beautiful spot to get a look at the gold water mix with the blue of the sea. A small waterfall is nearby which in bright daylight glistens with the gold colours. There is a raised platform to view the sea. Toilets are available. About 20 minutes should be great to your this spot. You will get a good view of the King Kong mountain from here.

Nice sea view with two different colours !! There is an observation deck for you to take photos of the sea and view the information about the mountain behind. Our tour guide drove us to the top of the mountain and gave us a view of the sea from another perspective.

Sea is pretty interesting to see.

Dubbed as “the Thirteen Levels”, the old copper refinery is also called “the Potala Palace of Mountain Mines” as it looks like a beautiful abandoned palace far away. The parking lot at ShueiNanDongand the lookout pavilion in Changren community provide an incredible view. Music videos of famous songs are shot here, too. The building has the longest gas pipe in the world, which is 2 kilometers in length and 2 meter in diameter. Due to possible fatal accidents, visitors are not permitted to enter the pipe.

Took the bus for the Golden Waterfall, however we missed the stop, ended up at the end of the road. Alighted, lo and behold, we were delighted that we were at our next destination, the Yinyang Sea. We crossed the road and were greeted by the marvellous scene. Before the stream joined the sea, the rocks were speckled with the gold dust, turning them gold.

So serene and beautiful. I can't remember which bus I took, but our driver stopped at a detour down to the waterfront to get a view of everything from above. It was incredible, and I highly recommend it

A must go place after or before you visit JiuFen street. Good view to experience something new.

Dropped by here late in the afternoon for a while before going to Jiufen and found this place quite peaceful with a relaxing view. There was just this quite weird smell coming from I don't know where (lol), like old wood. Probably from the old gold mine nearby. The seaside also had tons of rocks with mineral traces (as you can see on my photos), and some parts of the water have a golden color to them. 💕 This would be a perfect place to see the sunrise/sunset.

I was on the way to Jiufen Old Street, then stopped by to snap some nice photos. You can see a swirl of blue and yellow water in the bay. Beautiful!

Simply Mountain and sea view…. Good to have free Parking and toilet here

History speaks for itself. Its a pass by tourist attraction where you can enjoy the view from a viewing deck. Yin and Yang the mix of the color of the sea.

Passed by from Yehliu to Jiufen. Small viewpoint and not much else.
