I did 6 dives from a boat with them. It couldn't have been a better experience. From the staff, who are very nice and professional, the gear that is very well cared and the boat, large and comfortable. A highly recommended diving option

I highly recommend this dive center, the guides are very nice and knowledgable, the equipment is in perfect conditions and the service is great. We saw some amazing underwater life, and photos are free and incredible !

What an amazing dive center! My bus from Kaohsiung was running late over an hour and I just made it in time for joining the afternoon dive. From the first moment arriving at the dive center, all the stress of getting on the boat was immediately relieved by the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere of the people there. I dived with Tony (ginger duck aficionado/best dive guide) who also picked me up from the bus stop in Nanwan (about a 10 min ride from the center). He's a great guide with lots of experience in both diving and life that he's happy to share with anybody asking. Diving with Tony felt safe at all times and any problems were resolved quickly.

The rest of the team is also very kind and happy to help with any needs and concerns. They also made sure to include me in their dinner plans which - not gonna lie - was probably the second most fun part of the weekend after the diving.

The communication in advance was simple and the prices are transparently explained on their website. The rental equipment was according to expectation and without issues. Many of the other divers I met in the center have been diving with CTdiver for years, which should convince anyone of the quality of the services they offer. Another plus for me as a Chinese-noob was the generally great level of English of everybody involved.

If you're searching for your dive center for exploring Kenting's many dive sites, CTdiver is the place to go!

Tony is an amazing teacher! As an instructor he is very professional, and follows PADI guidelines to ensure that all divers he teaches are safe, well trained for any emergency situation and able to enjoy the dive in a relaxed manner. As a person who had no formal training with Diving I would recommend CT Diver for anyone who wants to become a certified Diver, whether beginner or advanced. The experience with CT diver was amazing. The facilities, tools and equipment are all well maintained, and inspected thoroughly!

Foreigners/expats in Taiwan this place is also taught in English 👌

I had the amazing opportunity to learn under instructor Tony as well as Carrie. Both of them are marvellous and welcoming during my stay in hostel to get certified for Open Water course.

From the very start, both of them strongly enforce safety and I have gotten myself seemingly “killed” a few times when I did foolish things during my training, as replied by Tony. So rest assured that you’ll be in good hands with both of them, with them focusing on 1 instructor to 2 students ratio so that they can impart their knowledge to us. As my class was all Taiwanese less me, so the course was conducted in Chinese with my agreement (~1 month before first day), though they will explain to me in English whenever I stumbled across some more complicated Chinese words (my Chinese isn’t that good.. but enough to hear 80-90% of the lessons and perhaps 75-80% of the instructions)

Most importantly, it’s always to breath and to achieve consistent neutral buoyancy/平衡(which admittedly took me about 2 days) so that we can dive leisurely, admire the ocean creatures and not to disturb them.

I completed my diver propulsion vehicle (DPV) course with CT diver, and also completed some fun dives with them. Highly recommend training or fun dives. The owners (Carrie and Tony) are extremely knowledgeable and highly qualified instructors. I also dived with Teddy, who is really funny and a great diver.

Really enjoyed diving with Franky today! I’m a new Open Water diver and he was so patient - I’m now feeling much more confident and really appreciated the skills refresher. The whole team was lovely. Thank you all!

I’ve just had the most amazing past few days diving with CTdiver. I was picked up from the bus station and upon arriving I instantly felt like I was visiting old friends, we enjoyed nice chats and swapped stories over food and coffee. Then there was the diving; I partook in a number of shore dives and some boat dives, I got to see a wide variety of marine life, ranging from sea turtles to octopus,and I was blown away by the sheer number of fish there were to see. The dive master was excellent, and had a friendly and caring demeanour about him and was able to find lots of interesting things. I find it hard to express how much fun I have had, so the only way is for you to experience it yourself, so get in contact and get in the water. Who knows you may even see me because I’ll certainly be back again as soon as possible!

Done the PADI open water course here, my coach G leg is super professional and passionate, all the people here are super nice too, and with their helps, I can successfully get my certificate, it was so much fun to dive with them, will definitely come back and visit again!!!

I received my OW certification with CT Diver. Tony and his team were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. I felt comfortable and thought the coaching was top notch. I would highly recommend CT Diver to my friends and family that are interested in scuba diving.

This was our first time scuba diving, we were both excited and nervous since we weren’t really sure what to expect. Tony was an awesome coach. He was careful , kind, and experienced. He taught us with care and patience, and explained all the basics in detail. We never felt unsafe under the water with Tony. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. Activity: Experience Diving 體驗潛水

Prior to the activity: I contacted them via LINE to do the booking and had a fast response to my enquiry. It was my friend's birthday on our activity day, and I asked if they could do anything and suggested to write the wish on a board and take photo while diving. When I asked if they could get a cake, they initially recommended that I purchase and they collect for me. However, I didn't get any due to payment limitations. And I was okay with that anyway.

Activity day: Pre-booked a cab and arrived way ahead of time (0830 slot), we were welcomed by Franky and Carrie. We were briefed on safety and techniques, geared up, and went to the beach. They were encouraging and professional throughout the session. Photos were taken with GoPro, not recommended to bring your own.

At the end of the session, they surprised my friend (I was too) with a cake! It was totally unexpected, and we're so grateful.

They are definitely worth more than 5 stars! 真的很棒!

P/S: Ladies, remember to pin your fringe up. If not, you'll have your fringe floating in the water

I had an OW license from 10 years ago but never dived since. I searched around several diving places around SE Asia and enquired with couple diving centers and settled on CT Diver and this was absolutely one of the best decision! Not to claim I have the best memory from 10 years ago but CT Diver is definitely on a different level with their safety conscious training method. Their 4 days OW course may seem excessive (especially compared to other centers who can offer 3 days or even with AOW in one go) but I did complete it with confidence and sound knowledge for my future dives. This is especially true after I heard my friend’s diving experience in Bali. If my schedule allows I’ll defn return to Taiwan and complete more dives with CT Diver. Highly recommended. PS my instructor was G-Leg (short for chicken leg which is his favourite food lol).

Tony the owner/lead diver is great! Very knowledgeable about the reefs and what to expect to see at each site. I rented all of my equipment and everything was in great condition. Would recommend if you’re considering diving in the Kenting area. (Same comment can be found on trip advisor :) )

Had two very nice dives with Tony. They were very friendly and also helped us with finding our way around the area. Underwater he even took some very nice pictures. I would highly recommend diving with them!

We (total newbie couple) just finished the four-day Open Water Diver course with Tony. Preparation, teaching, and overall experience were top notch, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Tony is extremely knowledgable, experienced (with over 4,000 dives), patient, and kind. Some other dive centers take shortcuts on time (you cannot properly learn this material in two days!) or have much higher student-teacher rations; CT does only 1:1 or 1:2 courses. The difference in quality is tremendous. They don't just swim you around in a group and then give you a certificate; they work really hard to make sure you genuinely understand the theory, practice the skills, and even gain some knowledge of the marine life and related envioronmental issues. They are some of the warmest, nicest people you will ever meet, too! HIGHLY recommend CT Diver. We'll definitely go back to do dives with them in the future.
