Kenting Baishawan

Really nice place to watch sunset.
This beach isn’t crowded and worth a short drive.

Arrived around 8am with great weather, lovely beach!! almost empty that early. Umbrella+2chairs rental 300/day. Water and sand are beautiful. Didn't see public toilets but not sure, parked at a small parking lot and only spent time at the most northern part of the beach.

Beautiful beach. We went there in December (Offseason) and during the week so it was only us and a couple of other western tourists on the entire beach. Parking for free and food and very delicious juices around the corner. Sunshade and chairs cost 300$ which was not cheap but ok for the whole day. We had a fantastic day there.

Beautiful. A little far from kenting, best if you have a car/scooter but so worth it. Waters are so clear. You can snorkel right at the beach. Managed to spot a sea snake and the usual fishes. You can rent an umbrella for nt300 for the whole day. Scooter parking was nt10. One of the best beaches I've been to in Asia and I've honestly been to a lot.

Very relaxing, crystal clear water, Nice with beautiful sky, the most famous beach of Taiwan 🇹🇼, life of PI was filmed here, best visit time is in the morning as in the afternoon till evening very busy specially in weekends. Can rent chair, umbrella, ATV Bike etc!
The name is white sand beach but the sand isn’t white at all!

Been to a seaside in Kenting around May 2017. Don't have the exact location as I ride there with electric scooter. But the sunset is beautiful. Peaceful.

Baisha Beach or White sand bay is a lovely beach with fine sand mostly and a rocky corner on the north west side which features the best natural rocky pools in the area! These small pools are ideal to float and relax and one of them has a small cavern that can be explored with one breath by beginner free divers or snorkeling enthusiasts... hundreds of small fish are crowding usually there in a volume of only 3x1x1 cubic meters! You can try some water sports there and rent umbrellas...

Idyllic south eastern asian beach.
White sand and blue ocean. Warm water and enjoyable time in there.
Not crowded, public and there are restaurants oceanfront.
You can rent lounge chairs and hammocks for as few as 100 Taiwan dollars.
There are places for any budget, since resorts to great hostels.
In the night, there's a street night market walking a few meters from there.
During day it's relaxing and familiar. At night it turn a little bit more party and fun, with music on the beach and on the streets.
Bar trucks were my favorite.

We went to this beach 4 times (on the same year) and it was NEVER crowded each time we went there. The water is crystal-clear-blue. It’s quite clean but the sun can be really hot on a sunny day. The beach is pretty calm around May but can be a bit high on the last 4 months of the year especially in December.

Beautiful beach! love the rocks and if you are fish lover, you get to see lots of fish, crabs, shrimps swimming on shallow waters between the rocks.

According to me , best beach in kenting to camp, relax,swim,surf and suntan because it is far from the crowd , where you can experience Taiwan's peaceful night too. Here happy panda group own the restrurants and pre-pitched tents on the camp ground with all the facilities.Sunset view is very attractive here.

It is really nice beach. One thing which I did not like were dirty sun umbrellas. Nearby were toilets and bars with coconut to drink :) When I was there it was bad weather (it was raining) but even then I was enjoy it.

I think this is the cleanest beach in Kenting, maybe because it’s not close to Kenting street.
Sands are clean, not too crowded, lifeguard available, and water activities available that you can pay it.
You can bring your own parasol or you can rent one there, and bath place available for only NTD20, toilet for NTD10. Very convenient.

So this is apparently where some of the movie of Life of Pi was filmed. It's a fairly isolated beach. I went at sunset and the water was just a beautiful turquoise color. Be aware that the parking lot is paid. They charged 10 NTD for my electric scooter. I sat there for about an hour listening to the waves and it was just so relaxing. I would definitely come back again especially because there weren't many people when I came

Clean beach with clear crystal water, we will definitely be returning next year and stay longer.

I rented the umbrella and a few chairs for TWD300. The shower is TWD20 and the bathroom is TWD10. The beach is clean and water is clear. Afternoon gets really busy on Sunday even in November.
Coconut water is available at a little shop next to the shower and the bathroom building.

Beside that there were many Chinese ppl, all good, nice view warm sand. The water is clean, the most beautiful place in taiwan

Another great beachfront area in Kenting. Bit of a distance from the other more popular Kenting beachfront areas so maybe not as busy.

This is a beach in the south of Taiwan. It is well-known for the director Li An’s film《 Life of Pi》. There are the purest beach and warm sunshine. Anyone can rent an electric bike on Kenting Street without driver ’s license, it take about 40mins from kenting street to here. You can find bartending here, I like to drink a cup of cocktail in the sea breeze then I feel life is so nice .
