Amazing spot, family room his spacious, facing the ocean , everyone is so friendly breakfest buffet us great, lots to do around the resort, little beaches. We love it will be back when we visit Taiwan in the future , thanks Howard beach resort kenting

We visited Howard Beach Resort during a typhoon, but I think that tragic circumstance actually accentuates why I liked the Resort so much. The resort had comfortable rooms. I got the family a room facing the ocean which was a nice view. Since the trip from Taipei was quite long, we opted to hit the resort pool instead of the beach. The pool was a very smart design with a shallow pool “lane” around the perimeter of the pool so that adults can have young children throughout the pool area. Note: Swim caps are required. You can buy them at the pool. The little beach is right across the street which is really convenient. The bigger beach is about a 10-15 min walk. The Kenting Night Market begins with a few scattered vendors along the way to the main night market. The main night market is like 10 minutes away, and it has a good variety of food and game vendors. There are also some other great resort amenities like a huge paid daycare for kids, a really nice breakfast and dinner buffet (imho, breakfast is significantly better), and lots of space to hang out indoors and outdoors throughout the property.

Absolutely love staying here. It's centrally located, has direct access to the beach, has a nice swimming pool, and entertainment galore. Highly recommend this hotel.

Howard Beach Resort is one of my favorite hotels in Taiwan. It has been my family's first choice when we would like to have a trip to Kenting for a long time.

I visited the restaurant with my family on November 7, 2021. Although we waited for some time entering rooms, we still had a good time on the trip. There were several advantages I would like to mention:

1. Service: Their employees are friendly and patient. When an employee witnessed my grandmother was walking, she helped her open the door immediately. And she was concerned about her. My grandmother was happy about that.

2. Room: The room is comfortable and cozy. When I lay on the bed, I could fall asleep immediately. Also, the view of the balcony is magnificent. There is a breathtaking ocean view outside. I felt relaxed when I enjoyed the beauty on our balcony.

3. Breakfast: I always look forward to having breakfast at the company. There was a lot of delicious food there. I loved the fried eggs, beef soup, and fried vegetables.

4. Location: It is convenient to go shopping at Kenting Street if you live here. Also, you could go to the Little Bay within ten minutes.

Location is perfect because it is near the kenting Night Market and it has direct access to a private beach through a tunnel so no need to cross the road, also on the tunnel is a washing and rinsing area and restaurants.

Facilities are good. They have big swimming pool that is also suitable for young kids. Rooms are spacious with a balcony. Bathroom is good and provided with complimentary items.

Howard also provided complimentary beach bag and slippers.

Staff are overall friendly, helpful, accomodating and have good service. Special mention to the great housekeeping staff of 4th floor who found and sent me back my airpods which I unfortunately left last sunday. Also to the frontdesk staff for coordinating with housekeeping and giving me a callback.

For my first prolonged (semi) solo trip to the East, I continue to be surprised by Taiwan's luxury hotels, which provide so much for SO little!

The room we obtained was the biggest I've ever stayed at. 2 beds that can sleep 2 people, with a moderately sized bathroom, free accommodations, and even a balcony! We also purchased last minute at the counter, and it all 6 under $200 USD for a night total for 2 people!

The restaurants are really great, like Chanps Elysees, and the hotel is so big that you can actually get lost! There are also rooms situated outdoors (when leaving the room, you are outside). Even more amazingly, there is an attached beach!

The only weird thing I noticed was how, unlike traditional circumstances, for some reason, every single room has a unique Wi-Fi network, and the lobby and restaurants have various ones as well, and the way of connecting is to turn in the room's T.V. so the WiFi can show up and so you can get the password.

An absolute amazing hotel and one of the few, if not the only, hotel where I thought it was a shame we were only staying for a night. If you haven't gotten the idea, you have to stay here!

Very nice resort with direct access to beach. Huge amount of activities, movies, mall and shopping. Huge pool and small zoo. Very family friendly. Buffet had great selection of food and great and helpful staff.

very comfortable and huge hotel for family n group of friends. Clean, with sea or green view for the room. Not the latest or newest hotel in town but overall is very good experience, big swimming pool and kids pool facilities is available. You can take public bus from High speed train station. And walking distance to several restaurant and the night market. Walking distance to the beach as well, (you need to cross the main road to reach the beach).

The ambiance of the resort exudes a relaxed atmosphere!

After living in Taiwan for over 10 years, this is still my absolute favorite place in Taiwan! I've stayed at Howard Hotel 5 times, and have had the time of my life every single time! Also had the honor to check out their villas, which are all amazing as well. But regardless of the room you're staying in, you will always have access to the amazing pool area with jacuzzi, only a few meters away from one of the amazing beaches down in Kenting! Honestly can't recommend this place enough!

Breakfast was amazing. So many options. Make sure you're hungry, because there's a lot to explore!
It's also within walking distance to the night market, which is a huge plus. It was also super nice to be able to use the tunnel to the beach.

· I really feel like the price was a little high, but you get what you pay for- great staff and a very clean hotel.

The place maybe old and maintence definitely needs to catch up, but looking passed the minor exterior details, this hotel offers biggest rooms, clean bathrooms, private access to the beach, shopping mall and water world. Spent 4 days last year and 4 days this year. The experience are consistent, friendly helpful staff, various of hotel activities for the kids and not too bad of a dinner buffet. If you can forgive the lack of surface maintence, this is the best hotel in Kenting to stay for your money.

I personally loved staying here. The pool is quite spacious and the snacks are wonderful. There are also a lot of facilities available for guests and a direct path to the beach. 100 percent recommended!

One of the best hotel in kenting super clean and the staff is so friendly and the food is so delicious and a lots of food u can choice and the pool and beach is so breathtaking i want to go back there. Is so the best place to stay with family. The water space in basement 2 is so big and clean. The room is so big and thre bed is relaxing and smooth.

We hired a car from Kaohsiung and drove down to kenting to get to the resort. In hindsight it may have been better to take their shuttle bus, as we did not really need the car, and you could easily hire a electric moped in kenting town. which was a very short walk away from the hotel.

We stayed at the Howard Villas, which have a separate checkin/lobby area, it was not quite clear where that was so we ended up going to the main checkin, then being redirected to the villa lobby, a short walk away. There is also a seperate car park for the villa's

Having checked in, we where upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. The rooms appear to have been renovated recently, and where in a very good condition. One thing to note is that the 'private' pool, while only available for use by the villa, as the villa is really the ground floor unit in a 3 story development, is overlooked by the hotel rooms above. The outdoor jacazzi / show however is totally private.

The package included breakfast, which while not a 5 star hotel quality is a respectable 4 star buffet. on the weekend it's either at the main hall, or one of the function rooms next to it. weekdays, the main hall is the only location and is a short walk from the room.

The pool was not full when we arrived, the staff did mention that if we wanted it filled up to ask, and when we requested it in the morning, it was full up in the afternoon when we got back. While not that deep or long (it's really a plunge pool), it's quite a nice way to relax on a hot day.

Things to do around the hotel
- The night food market - is very close to the hotel, and a great way to have dinner, lots of variety and great food, the stall holder very helpful and friendly.
- The package included free use of the bicycles at the hotel. We cycled up-to, and just past the lighthouse. A great way to see the area and get a bit of exercise. The bikes are reasonable, gears and brakes work, but are not new, and looked a bit rusty, could do with a regular replacement. On a sunday most of the bikes had been rented out by after lunch, so get there quite early.
- We drove around the county on the second day, and saw the remaining sights, which we could not make it to on the bike.
- The beach is connected to the hotel via a private tunnel, and is a nice sandy, quite shallow beach with swimming. No watersports really available, so it's good for kids and a relaxing time

Overall a great relaxing weekend, well worth 2-3 days

Wonderful place for the price! Room was huge and sparkling clean. Service was excellent with friendly staffs.
Room has all the facilities that is required, safe, kettle, tv with free movies, wifi study table.
Bed was clean and soft. Room was quiet with good sound proofing.
Its location is at the end of the kending main street where all the foods and fun and shopping is at. Very convenient!
Wonderful place to stay for families and couples. Highly recommended.

Room is very clean. Staffs are so friendly and helpful. Location is right at Kenting public bus station that can reach 左营Hight Speed Realroad (HSR) and local points of interest. Highly recommend.
