it has been about 7-8 years since we stayed here. the hotel is just as nice as it was 7-8 years ago. There standards are still high, the rooms are still well maintained. we love this hotel when we come to Kenting. It has a museum for Chang Kai Chek (spelling) too. The rooms are nice, the pool was very cold when we went in December. Service is excellent. It's a great place to stay for a get-away.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, worth every penny! This is the kind of place you can come and enjoy yourself enjoy the luxury enjoy the wonderful scenery. The staff can speak Mandarin, English, Cantonese, and probably more. They were very friendly very helpful I am 100% coming back here. The hotel has so many amenities the bedrooms are so comfortable, we got the room with an ocean view and it is beautiful!

Kenting is a southest Taiwan town. The hotel is located in Kenting Shuer-Ting national park and in the past is a local stop for CKS (Chiang Kai Shek, the ex-president of Taiwan ROC) Therefore, the hotel itself is a historical building. Besides.”, This hotel has a great nice ocean view., as well as Mountain View. Our room is clean and elegant. The tub inside is big and comfortable. Outdoor Swim pool water is clean. Unfortunately there is no pool-side party at night. Sunset view is the best experience ever in my life. I recommended a five star.

Absolutely amazing hotel right next to the Kenting National Park. Pure luxury in terms of the rooms, the amenities (huge bath and shower) and the added extras (you get 2 cool complimentary water bottles, there is a Nespresso machine in the room). The view is breathtaking for the very well kept outside areas. Dinner is 1000 TW$ so we didn't try, but the breakfast was incredibly high-end and delicious (no buffet but a la carte out of 4 options). Totally recommended if you want some pampering.

The view here will take your breath away. Have to experience once in your life. However, regarding the food quality, has been on a slow decline lately. I would advise to go to the Main Street for your Kenting experience.

The service is mostly good, but this last time I went, I waiting till 4pm to be able to check in. I think some one messed up at some point since we reserved the room 1 month ago.

Cosy style, intimate. Come here for a nice escape from the traffic and the noises of the city. Take a rest next to the swimming pool and lay down on the grass while watching the sunset. Breath...and feel the noise of the clouds. Rooms are really silent and no one will bother you here. A pleasant stay!

Great front desk service, like once I needed extra capsule coffee and they provide a set without charge immediately.

We had a two day stay in Gloria Manor and it's awesome in every way. We wish we can have at least one more holiday to spend in the resort. Beautiful ambience that calm people down and bring us to another level of relaxation. Love it! Must visit again!

The best place to stay in Taiwan forever with the best breakfast.

The best hotel experience in Kenting, period. For the best bang for the buck, my personal recommendation is the Ocean view or the Ocean Deluxe. As there is low bushes around the hotel that may obscure the ocean view, try requesting higher floor rooms for a better view.

Have mountain in your back while have ocean view in the front. The hotel sits in the best location of Kenting National Park. The hotel is well designed and I love the harmony color of its decor. No. 1 choice for Kenting.

I've so far stayed a total of 7 nights for 3 visits over a few years at Gloria Manor. I've stayed in the tatami rooms, the garden rooms, as well as the seaview rooms. The best are the seaview rooms, although priced quite high, followed by the tatami rooms, both for their amazing views. The garden rooms are nice but not as worth it. The main thing about this wonderful hotel is its vibe, which is plain peace and calm surrounded by natural beauty. You could do well for yourself by just staying there for several nights and days (if affordable), only leaving for dinner down at Nanwan's lovely surprise of Bossa Nova, or some streetside pizza. During the day you can lounge by the pool and take in the views or a book, or go for a walk up the hill in the botanical garden or the more lengthy and natural Shiding park. Breakfast is included with your stay, which includes delicious fresh bread, fresh watermelon juice, coffee/tea, salad, and a choice of a gourmet meal. The main courses over the years have been a bit odd, perhaps more for the Asian palette, but interesting nonetheless.

To improve, and to offer a more nuanced opinion on service, I've always found the service at Gloria Manor's breakfast to be a bit chaotic. I hope the hotel can work on this. (I should note that I can speak and understand Chinese.) One person will bring you your bread, then another your juice, another your coffee, and then yet another your main course. So it's hard to know who to ask when you need something, and staff typically had left us alone for too long. It would be expected that each server is simply assigned a specific area as is common practice. We had the weird experience last visit when we were ignored for a while after sitting down until I flagged down a waiter. He asked us what we wanted to order, took our child's order then quickly left without asking what we wanted. I then went to the bar area to find the supervisor to ask if we could be served. She was very nice and apologetic. Wth her next to me I then ordered from our attending server lattes but got black coffees. She saw this and was embarrassed and got us our lattes. The meal was great following the confusion. The next morning, service was a bit better, although this time we had to sign for the lattes as they cost an additional $300NT (about $10USD), which was surprising considering no cost the previous day (and no mention of a cost upon ordering), but they were really good regardless.

The slight service chaos at breakfast time aside, I absolutely love staying at the Gloria Manor, and would highly recommend anyone staying there in need of a break from it all for some beauty, calm, peace, quiet, good food, and lovely staff.

After hiking in the national park, it was great to stop here for a nice delicious lunch and enjoying the view. Love it! Next time we would highly consider to stay here for a retreat.

Spending a weekend getaway with my boyfriend. Absolutely amazed with the property! Make sure to check out their facilities, and enjoy the breakfast. Convenient to visit Hengchun City and the night market.

Outstanding food service! Didnt expect a asian fusion dinner course at a touristy hotel be equally delicious from those at taipei. Room was nice, and the outdoor environment and pool were pleasant.
