Lovely Dinner in Hengchun. The menu offers a variety of Western and Asian dishes. The service and the food were very good. The boss seemed to be a little bit harsh at first glance but she indeed was very friendly and gave us a wonderful table in the corner. We had the smoked salmon, calamari, the cashew shrimps and some fries. All was very good, their staff was very attentative and we got regular water refills. A lovely little dinner restaurant that is a recommendation for dinner.

A fantastic restaurant in Da Wan area serving delicious and fun food with friendly service and outdoor seating. The modern Caesar salad was wonderful, the prawns juicy and fresh,and the chicken wings crispy and tasty. They serve simple red wine by the carafe for a good price, and the meal altogether was reasonable for the location.

It is one of a very small number of restaurants where you can't criticize anything because everything is just delicious. We did go for lunch 3 times a week, and every time, I ordered something different. Every dish was amazing. Keep going. Thank you. Mark

Run by a French guy and I think his Taiwanese wife? Food was amazing! Lots of options from Western to Asian food. English on the menu + the guy soeaks English so no need to worry if you don't speak Mandarin. Beautiful inside as well and great service. All the desserts are homemade, we had a chocolate mousse which was delicious.

I love almost everything we get here. The French fries are the small cut like the one in France. The spicy squid with fry onion are so good. The beet salad is amazing. The only thing I am not so crazy about it’s the catch up. Fantastic meal and great vibe.

Food was delicious. Had a whole bass (perch) with thai sauce and a bowl of rice. Asked for only a little bit of spiciness. It was just the perfect balance out of spice and sweetness. The female cook was caring and very nice. The main course was just wonderful. Dessert (something with bread, pistachios and coconut) was a great round-up.
Waiter and the boss seemed not very glad that I came in just when the kitchen was about to close, which I honestly understand. So I am thankful I was still served. Cocktail was decent. Water was served for free.

The lovely bossa nova music and well designed interieur made a wonderful atmosphere.
Would have loved to stay longer on Nanwan just to go the the Bossa Nova Beach Café again. Definitely recommended!

P.S.: I only eat fish at the beach. That being said I still prefer to eat vegetarian. So it was great to see many vegetarian options being available, too. Thanks for that!

After looking over the varied menu, you may wonder how this place can do so many different cuisines and do them well. There's Taiwanese, Italian, Indonesian, and Vietnamese to name a few. Yet, every single dish we ordered, from appetizer to dessert, was delicious! We enjoyed the Vietnamese beef noodles, zucchinis risotto, salmon Caesar salad, and of course, the tiramisu.

Great service and friendly, attentive staff. The food is quite good (I recommend the mushroom/truffle duo cream pasta, chicken coconut curry, and tiramisu). The drinks were made quite stiff but all is well that ends well. Cool atmosphere and nice music. I never met Mr. Nova but I guess that’s for next time.

A step above Piccolo Polpo in terms of selection and execution. Similar to Piccolo Polpo the service is rushed / pushed. Deserves 4.5 not 5 but I rate it higher. Tried all their classics. Tge Seafood Criolla was the best. , the Beef Bourguignon was good (not great), the Thai style Deep fried chicken was very good. Tge steak was cooked perfectly, but under seasoned. Overall, very good. Wine list is good (OK) , priced reasonably 800-1200NT

Cute casual restaurant with high quality food. Had the Red Wine Beef with mashed potato. The beef was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very aromatic and delicious. The service is also very friendly and fast. The portion size is good. There is a nice patio with lots of plants, but it was too windy when we visited.

Nearly skipped this place because I don’t really trust restaurants with menus from multiple countries. So glad I didn’t!

Tried the chili and the pork roast and enjoyed both. The chili is just spicy enough to match most people’s taste and the roast felt homemade. We’ll be back next year to try a few more items on the menu.

Super friendly staff, the boeuf bourguignon was tasty. The place has been there for a long time and is French owned and also operated 👌🏼

I am not sure whether the dishes are traditional or not in France, but to be honest, the different flavors from Taiwan and France complement each other perfectly.

Really authentic food and great atmosphere! We had Malaysia chicken curry and seafood rice. Price is reasonable too!

It’s a fantastic restaurant. Food here is delicious, must try their tiramisu!Atmosphere is great,very relax, recommended to come.

One would expect a place that does so many cuisine to excel in none but the dishes were surprisingly well executed. I really like their tiramisu, pasta and seafood casserole.

Best restrurant near nanwan beach . They are preparing their dishes according customer's preference ,which is a very good thing about them . French owner is very generous and humble. staffs and ambiance both are good. I liked that they have their own herb's garden which includes rosemerry, mint,curry leaves and many more ...

We loved every single dish we order. The owners are super nice and welcoming.
