Paoma Historic Trail

Nice walk that’s relatively close to the city centre in Jiaoxi. We came on a Sunday morning, quite a lot of people but not super busy and everyone is very friendly and polite. Lots of families with small children too. Some amazing views along the way. Definitely recommend if you have a few hours to spare.

Long trek but worth the views. If you're coming from the station, be aware that it is already a long uphill walk by foot just to reach the start of the trek. Views are beautiful and at times, the cliffs can be misty and look magical.

Hiked all the way to the View Point by the road, out and back. Very scenic. The highlight of the trip is to hear the cries from the wild monkeys, that I mistook for dog barking. Also caught monkeys doing cable walks.

This is a very nice hiking trial, it's not like the regular hiking trial with stairs in Taiwan, it's a place to go before the hot spring, beautiful view of city and trees :)

Great for novice since the trail is not too steep.

If you're looking for a easy hike in Jiaoxi, this is the place. It takes about 1 hr to reach the other end, where there's a guy selling nice tea eggs and homemade stuff.

One of the entrances of the mountain trail. It is nice to do some walking up here, looking over the wonderful landscape of the county.

🗺古道南入口可由礁溪市區沿著忠孝路一巷步行而至，約20分鐘內可到。開車的話步道口前可路邊停車。

📝步道總長約5公里，前後為自然步道，中間有段產業道路，來回約2個半小時輕鬆走。如由南入口向北路口走，坡度為緩升，林蔭屬多，中間也有些地方可休憩。

🏝天氣好展望佳，可看到龜山島及蘭陽平原風光，沿途遇到幾株櫻花，幾片竹林，走起來心曠神怡。

路況好，屬親子步道。

☀ 開車從南邊入口進入，今天走來回6公里自然步道的部分，一整路都超級好走，天氣也好，風景很不錯，尤其有一大段都可以看到海邊和龜山島一路相隨😍😍😍，另外有一段有小溪可以玩水。

但現在天氣冷，水邊沒人。這條步道我喜歡，今天走人也不多，風景好坡度緩還可以走滿久，很適合一邊走一邊聊天👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

南入口往北入口單程約5.2公里，耗時約1.5~2小時；前3.2公里為坡度20~30的碎石土路，凹凸不平易摔跤；至上新花園區(廢棄多年，已被芒草掩蓋)為柏油公路約一公里，最後一公里為美麗的森林石階步道。全程林蔭多，難度低，適合全家出遊。上新花園區的柏油路有銜接北宜公路，駕車可達。

步道由礁溪端走，有南北兩個入口可選擇，南入口車可停路邊，北入口，車不好停，因山路狹窄，空 農場的接泊車往返都走這一段路，兩邊都是私人的土地，所以車不好停，步道好走，南入口，有一小段較濕滑，需小心，沿途緩上坡，一路可走到北宜公路上，遠眺蘭陽平原及龜山島，看國5高速公路，看火車往來穿梭，還是很有趣，值得推薦，親朋好友，三五好友一同前往，全程往返約4-5小時左右，看個人的腳程及休息時間

全程緩坡上升，景色優美，全程偶有林蔭遮蔽偶爾沒有需注意防曬。最大的賣點就是可以以不同的角度同時欣賞龜山島與蘭陽平原。路況較原始多碎石與石塊，年紀較小的小朋友需要注意避免扳倒受傷。全稱沒有廁所是唯一的缺點，希望宜蘭市政府能夠考慮建個廁所方便登山客使用。整體來說是個很棒的步道，走完不會太累又可以欣賞到超美的景色～

跑馬古道
從宜蘭礁溪入(南端)到坪林出(北端)。
單程5公里，坡道平緩易走，有幾處地點可看蘭陽平原，龜山島。
第一次走跑馬古道，是踏青路線，唯在3.3公里後，有約1公里的馬路，再轉入小徑，上坡600公尺就抵達出口。

天氣也好，風景很不錯，有一大段都可以看到海邊和龜山島
今天去沒水。沒能看到水池小瀑布

很好走的路線，平緩，遠眺龜山島。國五車流量，塞車都看得到。花燈初上，礁溪的夜景盡在眼前。
