Hualien Railway Culture Park

Free entrance. There were a couple old trains on display outside and a room is decorated in 50s styles. You can put on the train crew uniform to take pictures. Kinda fun!

The venue was also a traditional Japanese style architecture dates back to the 40s I believe.

A nice place to take the elder to kill an hour. close to downtown.

Park opens until 9pm and is free admission. Get some close up shots and be a Rail Fan of trains.

Historical place for old Hualien port station area and good railway heritage

This is the old Hualien train station from the Japanese colonial era. It's worth a visit if you like old historic buildings. It has been kept in good condition.

Small museum of railway history, free to visit

Really nice use of an old Japanese era structure including a railway museum and a theater.

The guide lady was very friendly and explained us the history of the museum.

園區內林木、建物🏠及庭園景觀整體上維持非常完美真難得啊🤔⋯⋯

在北回鐵路開通之前這裡是通往南台東及蘇澳的道路交通樞紐匯集地；舊站前的噴水池圓環紀錄著過往的點點滴滴⋯⋯

這五顆星有🈶一半是給解說員「鄭裕雄」先生，他的親切細心又詳實的介紹，讓我們遠來的遊客更能瞭解🫡鐵道文化的整個緣由…….

在這裡也保有當時舊有的站牌名稱及如何通知南、北交匯的火車🚞在單線道時期的行駛方式，以避免發生碰撞的器具，在「鄭解說員」的詳實說明下，得到了很多那年代鐵路火車行駛🈶的史績……

今天來此一行了解當時花蓮火車站的轉變至今的情況，收獲良多，真好……..

我最愛的法國麵包新分店入住，以後都去這裡取訂的麵包，走走逛逛，喝杯咖啡，超級享受。

裡頭有個木建的展覽室 當我們靠近時門口有位上了年紀的爺爺很親切且熱情地邀請我們入內參觀 裡頭雖然只有擺設幾樣早期的音響設備 廣播設備 爺爺非常專業又細心耐心地一件一件為我們解說 爺爺的服務和態度親和力十足真的令我們感動到了 來這裏除了看看 火車一定要來聽聽這位爺爺的解說 爺爺說出的話彷彿會有一種魔力 吸引人的不是展示的物品 而是因為經由爺爺的解說後這些展覽事物更讓人關注 非常謝謝爺爺的服務

不用門票 裡面沒有特別大 氣氛感很充足的！
進去就好像體驗到以前火車鐵道的時期
裡面也有賣電影票 可以在裡面看電影喔！

整個園區為日式建築分為兩個區域，週末去還有解說員幫忙解說，不是只有自己霧裡看花的感覺，喜歡鐵道文化的朋友可以來這邊走走，重點不需要門票，有時會有特別的活動會在這邊展出，所以若再等待期間有空檔可以多去園區了解一下。

漂亮的日式木造老屋，庭院也整理得很好，共分為兩個園區在馬路兩邊，免費入園。
