Pinglin Old Street

Interesting area with lots of history to be learned and tae to be drank.

Lots of places to go. Lots of interesting buildings. Good bakeries and coffee shops. Most restaurants do not have AC. Just fans so it is hot. There is a family mart and a 7-Eleven.

I'm go to Pinglin because i have a workshop at there.
I tried tea es cream, it's good just like any other ice cream.

It's quite popular by tourists in recent years. The advantage here is the shops charge you a fair price, not as you usually heard pricy fruits and foods in some famous night markets. I enjoy much every time I visit.

a quaint place. walking in summer can be really really hot, but to refresh you can get the local cold brew tea for 20twd at almost every shop. noodles with tea oil is worth a try, along with the various tea ice creams that are the most delicious I have ever tasted.

Ping Lin and its surrounding areas are a tea plantation, and Ping Lin also has a Museum of Tea History. The whole town is spacious and peaceful, and it is suitable to spend at least half day here, to know more about tea growing and tea making, enjoy firsthand of tea drinking. Moreover, to have lunch or dinner here, to experience the warmth of local people and peace of this town.

Historic Pinglin Old street features a many shops that specialize in tea and anything tea-related, from tea-flavoured eggs to tea oil. In addition there is a very cool temple in this street, the kind of one you are used to see in kungfu movies depicting ancient times!
