Zhongzheng Park

I just love this place. The view is amazing. The public restrooms are clean. To reach this place, you gotta have 2 ways. One by walk through the stairs which amazing experience. Walking on the road and then through the stairs. Another is yes of course the bus or bicycle or scooter.

We took a taxi here and walked down the hill. It was pleasant and easy to do with lots of things to see.

Breathtaking! This place is perfect for everyone, including kids and the elderly. The biggest outdoor goddess statue in Asia is a must-see. You can soak up culture, nature, and lifestyle at this park. Keelung (particularly Zhongzheng District) is one of the most charming places in Taiwan, I must say.

Saw the guanyin from my hotel room, so why not hike up to see what they have there. Route up is hilly, and the view there interesting. They also have the laughing Buddha at the entrance.

it’s a good 15-20mins short hike up from the stairs with twisty slopes and steps. Rewarded with beautiful scenery and all nature has to offer. Peaceful and pretty place to be in when visiting keelung! You may use google maps to guide you up to the place too.

Zhongzheng Park is situated on the side of Dashawan Mountain, which is at the east of Keelung City.

Peaceful place with great and huge Guanyin figure. Nothing much else around the area other than the temple. Great for praying.

Very interesting architecture of the temples, a traditional big Buda and a lot of statues around. From the top you can see the "Keelung" sign in the hills, the cruises port and part of the city, very cool. Also there is a tower that you can visit just "paying" with candies 🤭

Cultural park and beautiful place!

Zhongzheng Park is a beautiful park with a number of impressive and worthwhile features to see and the views are amazing. It was a little overcast on the day of our visit but still we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very nice place to visit. The whole Keelung city is so nicely visible from here.

Quiet, peaceful and yet it is Keelung’s most prominent hillside park.There are many temples, paths, platforms and levels to explore here. Make sure to check out the Ghost Festival museum and one of the largest statues in Taiwan -- the Goddess of Mercy. It’s a great place to get a panoramic view of the harbor, city and hollywood sign. Especially beautiful place to watch the sunset or even to visit the giant Totoro mural!

Peaceful and serene landscape with a golden Buddha at the entrance and a white Guanyin Statue overseeing the landscape below.

I love the whole of this area in Keelung. It is so diversified with great scenery over the harbour and traditional shrines and altars.

Very nice view and location for spending an hour or two. Hiking up the hill is great, too.

Must climb to the top to see the gigantic Buddha and overlook the scenic view of Keelung. Highly recommended 👌

Was pouring rain, so we had the place all to ourselves. We had to much fun.

Scenic place with a good view of Kee Lung Harbour with the cruise ships. Worth a visit.

Love the serenity of the place with a giant statue of Goddess of Mercy and a nice view overlooking Keelung Harbour. Good place to catch the sunset as well.
