Shen'ao Rail Bike (Shen'ao Station)

It's a short ride but fun. You can go one way or round trip.
The best part of this is the sea nearby. So I suggest riding one way from Shen'ao to Baduozi, then just cross the street to enjoy the sea.

Super fun experience. It took us about 10mins to shenao but returning took us 25mins because the breaks were broken and constantly on. The staff apologised and gave us a small free gift. So remember to check your breaks before setting off. Super fun and lovely scenery. The colourful light tunnel was really pretty.

We took the bus going to the place and decided to take only one way route starting from Shen'ao. It was raining and thus quite cold.

Each cab is a 2 person bike. There is a basket behind where personal items must be placed, a walkie talkie is also attached behind where you can call for help. A lever is available under the seat so you can move the seat forward or backward. Just like a regular bike, the brakes are located on the hand handle.

Just make sure your pockets are empty. I was wearing cargo pants and didn't notice that my camera cover fell as we pedaled across.

There's about a km stretch of biking, easy if you're used to biking. If you're a fit parent, it's good to bring kids along (maybe older than 5yo). However if you're a sedentary one (with minimal to no biking ) , it might be difficult to pedal the cab alone.

Come early.

Really fun activity to do while in Shen'ao or Badouzi. About a 15-20mins railbike ride that runs along a scenic coastal route and through a tunnel with flashing LED lights. Weekend may get busy, so it's best to book a ticket in advance.

It's definitely a must try experience!

Fun experience with beautiful lights. It's not everyday you get a chance to cycle on a railway track. Recommended to go in the evening/night when more lights are on.

The ticket is so cheap and the place is beautiful!
