Güray Müze

It is the oldest pottery in Cappadocia. We did not enter the museum, but the very stunning shop of potteries and ceramics. There is a workshop as well, where you can experience doing a small cup for yourself and take it with you as a souvenir.

We only visited the ceramics store not the museum. If you are looking to purchase traditional ceramics this is your happy place. They have a wide array of items. The work for sale is produced on site. There is also a glow in the dark room. The staff us very helpful and friendly.

Worth a visit. Other than historical ceramic pices there is a vast selection of contemporary ceramic to see and buy.

Fantastic place to visit. Many artifacts to see. Some beautiful, modern pieces also. A huge store/gift shop. I dare anyone to leave without buying something. Watch the talented artist hand paint designs on items.... awe inspiring. Museum Card (Muze Kart) not accepted but entrance fee is reasonable. Parking also free.

A really interesting and well arranged underground museum of local ceramics and paintings. I believe everyone can spend some quality time there

Its the most amazing place i have ever seen in life

Located underground, giving you some coolness in a hot summer day. It has potteries dating back to 3000 BC, as well as beautiful ones from modern days.

Nice museum hidden in the midst of a pottery store. The gallery stores some of the best work of their pottery artistes from the owners family and otherwise. The venue is good to even see some contemporary art. Get some heirloom pottery display pieces but they aren’t cheap 500-1000 USD for a good one.

Nice and a good place for building things

This is a charming museum, workshop and huge store. The lighting is ambient for the ancient pottery displays. The Guray Family founded it and still maintains the premise. A must see for a boutique museum and amazing room after room shopping experience.

Place to visit that is both fascinating and lovely. You have no idea what to expect when you enter. However, as soon as you enter, you begin to appreciate the various forms of art (painting, ceramics, drawing, etc.).
Products made of ceramic, including plates, vases, and Turkish pottery Hittite vases, can all be found in one location.
It's a beautiful selection. Our host, the proprietor of this business, demonstrates the traditional techniques used to make ceramic goods for us. The owner and every member of staff are really friendly.

One of the best tourist spots in Kappadocya it may be far but it worth to drive.
