We were on our 10-day tour in Turkey and this was our 4th day. I already had a visit and taste in Madonna while I was in Istanbul. That was an ok experience because I was one of the many tourists passing by. Portion there was small and the texture was much thicker.
At Avanos, staff were super friendly and they knew we were taking photos all the time and they were always willing to stop and show us what they had in the plates. We had original and pistachio flavour. Strong flavours but not overwhelming, very tasty for a person like me who is not an ice cream fan😛
I wish they could see theses photos and enjoy them💐

Our tour guide brought us to the Venice of Turkey, we stop by for a delicious ice cream, very tick and no added sugar. We had kunefe, Mantis and Yogurt soup, all the items we lee delicious with great atmosphere

Our tour group brought us here to sample Turkish ice cream and tea only. But really enjoyed the atmosphere and river trails around it.

I must say very professional breakfast area. Nice food and high quality. The workers are friendly especially oguzhan and gülsah. Durg my visit, the always there and ready to serve me. I wish workers like them are every where in turkey. The demonstration of the food speaks for the quality of the restaurant.

Good place for dessert and coffee. We ordered Katmer, but it wasn't as delicious as we expected. It was made with chocolate, which definitely spoiled the taste of the traditionally prepared dessert. The restaurant offers a nice view of the river, but on cloudy days with a chance of rain, sitting outside is not allowed.

Furkan was our server and he provided wonderful and attentive service. Our meals came quickly and he answered all of our questions. I did not take photos but each of the plates were immaculate like the other photos on the reviews.

An amazing experience at MADO. Great vegetarian choices and the best Künefe in all of Turkey. The chef and staff were very friendly and shared lot of details about their food and products. The location at Avanos overlooking the river and their ambience makes the visit memorable

Came here for desert and tea. Place is nice looking, clean and staff is friendly. Our waitress Melike was specialy nice.
Had Turkish baklava with ice cream and it was awesome.

Very nice dessert shop near by red river. We ordered Turkish coffee and one traditional Turkish rice putin and it's outstanding. Thanks Yaren's introduction and it makes the foods better.

Beautiful cozy place next to Kizilirmak river. Falafel and kinoa salad were tasty and Furkan was very kind and helpful.
Recommended.

Only thing that can bother is the staff not knowing English. Apart from that, the food was good, but the dessert was whole alot better, devoured it! By all means, with a picturesque view.
