Three Beauties

Beautiful roadside stop to witness yet more geologic phenomena. My visit was enhanced by the presence of a very gifted musician. I'll never forget the absolute awe from staring off into the valley beyond these monoliths while he played his song...

Exploring Ürgüp in Turkey led me to the mesmerizing Three Beauties, a trio of stunning fairy chimneys that stand proudly against the Cappadocian skyline. As I approached, the whimsical formations seemed almost like nature's artistic masterpiece, gracefully shaped over centuries. The Three Beauties are more than just geological wonders; they embody the rich history of Cappadocia, standing as silent witnesses to the passage of time. Nestled amid the surreal landscape, these natural sculptures left me in awe of the forces that shaped them and the tales they hold. Visiting the Three Beauties was like stepping into a captivating storybook, where the pages unfold with each glance at these iconic Cappadocian landmarks.

We could actually walk down the hill from the car park and there was a path to reach the stones! Just make sure to wear shoes with good soles, basic sport shoes are enough, and do not hesitate to walk on the white stone surface because they are hard and rough but not slippery. From what I remember, the grass was not thorny so it is safe to walk on the ground to approach the Beauties. The car park is free of charge and there is also a viewing bay if you simply want to admire the Beauties from afar. The Three Beauties is the closest objects you can view but you won't be disappointed with the backdrop: the other valleys.

A good starting point because from here, you can easily reach Red Valley, Love Valley, and Pigeon Valley.

This site is free to visit on the way to Urgup. Gets a bit crowded later in the day. Absolutely worth a visit.

Beautiful, what nature has created !! It is very easy to access it. Literally, you park almost in front of it, and there's a wooden platform to enjoy the view. Going from Göreme to Ürgup, you'll see it on your left.

Three Beauties.
Three kaleidoscopic memsmerizing natural balance stone sturcture rock formation indeed. An absolutely beautiful and serence sigh by the roadside especially if you come in winter between late December to mid Feb with all the white snow making the surroundings more beautiful.

A wonder of nature. Three Beauties (or 3 Graces) Fairy Chimneys - Athene, Aphrodite and Hera. You must see it while visiting Kapadocia. Otherwise something will be missing, - like bubbles from champagne.

Beautiful location. Big free parking. When you go to viewing point you can find some very beautiful hand made ceramic magnets which I only found here.

Really enjoyable and great for photography.

Clearly a very popular stop here as there is a little tourist shopping mall next to it, with admittedly some unusual options eg a nut store. There is a wooden paved promise nade that gets to the top fo the hill next to the chimneys to allow for good pictures and a lovely view over Ürgüp, plus an interesting modern sculpture with a legend explained next to it.

Been wondering what the name stands for, there are thousands of beauties in Cappadocia but I think that the beauty is coming from the snowy Erciyes mountain in the horizon, an amazing view, not even the photos could picture it, you have to see to understand the beauty and the beauties

An unique landscape, UNESCO heritage, to visit at least once in a lifetime.

Very nice and interesting view. You wont see much things like this anywhere else. And you get to see hot air baloons in a near location

If it is mentioned Cappadocia everybody remembers Fairy chimneys. One of my friends came back from Cappadocia tour said that I was thinking that there are fairy chimneys whole Cappadocia.

As general although the fairy chimneys are located disorganizedly in Cappadocia, the number of capped fairy chimneys is not many as it is supposed. So it can be possible to see all separated by a convenient tour plan or a privileged guide.
