This is as local as it gets, firemen, a granddad with his granddaughter... If the locals choose it you're bound to enjoy it.
I ordered the beef kebab and, from the picture, it seemed like I would need to order fries with it. When the plate came, it had a generous amount of flat bread, some rice and salad. You get a taste of the local cuisine for half of what you would pay at a tourist's place.

Great local place, really reasonable prices for the area and the food is amazing! Try the lamb casserole and the garlic beef pide... 10/10 would definitely come back, best food we have had so far in the whole of Cappadocia.

Great restaurant in Urgup. Highly recommend trying this unassuming place out. Food here and great and service is exceptional.

Tried garlic beef pide, lahmacun, pottery kebab, etc. Everything was delicious and tasted awesome.

Around 15 mins from Goreme, the town of Urgup is very bustling and has lots of places to eat, shop and gather souvenirs.

Yasin sef was our great host. Great wood grilled flavor. Shared the season salad (Mevsim), mix grill kebabs (Karisik Kofte) with Kunefe for dessert. Filled us up just right.

The restaurant is located at the center of Urgup. The tourist locations are in the vicinity. We tried the Pilau, chips, salad, and kebabs. The kebabs are delightful and inexpensive. The staffs are generous. We sat outside and many lovely dogs were around. The all-around place is vibrant. Highly recommend the inexpensive dine-in!

Staff was friendly and price quality of the food excellent. We had the pide and there are many options to chose from.

Although tourists,we wanted to eat like the locals.The food is great,the service very quick, the toilets extremely clean and the prices normal. We were amazed by the traditional pıde , lentil soup and the chicken. I definitely recommend it. Better have a reservation first because it is very popular.

Seems to be very popular with the locals. The place is crowded but the waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful. Ordered chicken shish and it is very tender and tasty. Pide seems to be what the local are ordering in this restaurant. Highly recommended

Excellent option for affordable local Turkish specialties in a family-run setting. While the food was excellent, the service was even better. Extremely polite and friendly staff, they were literally running around the restaurant taking care of the tables!

This resturant is hidden gem, loved the food there, friendly staff, it was recommended by someone local from Urgup, everything made fresh, we loved the freshly baked pides, lahmacun. BBQ platters are excellent choice with generous portion, big menu with unique choices of traditional Anatolian cuisine they do have indoor and outdoor seating.

Very good pide especially the Spinach & Cheese one as well as the Turkish Sausage & Cheese variety. Highly recommended for good pide in Urgup.
