pension Reitmayer

This place was recommended by our close friend who has been going there for the past 20 years.
We used to stay at Strbske Pleso but gave it a try to stay at Stary Smokovec.
I am a clean freak and the first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. Also the host was very friendly and gave us advice on where to go on a hike.
We had a lovely vacation and will come back.

I'd really recommend pension Reitmayer! Spacious & clean room, great location and surrounding. Facilities in the room is also good. Good and varied breakfast - they also make different cakes every morning! Plenty of selection every day for dinner too - I stayed there for a week and they had daily menu. My favorite was the salmon 😁 mint tea was really fresh - the mint was literally picked from the garden when I ordered 😊 but above all what made my experience here was the people. The owners, the staff and met other local guests there that were very welcoming. Marcela gave me tips on leas touristy and nice hiking trails as well 😊

Also better call/ email to check their availability instead of using booking websites. It showed me no availability, then I called and apparently they did have a room

Cosy and modest rooms, good breakfast, friendly hosts, convenient location for hiking and dropoff things. Cards accepted.

Great rooms supporting relax after mountain walks (I've slept in all rooms). Great atmosphere as well as Slovakian wine selection. Vibrant place of magic powers (maybe you'll find out why).

Amazing!
I discovered this small family hotel by an accident and I was really satisfied with it.
They have a family atmosphere, clean big rooms, and pretty much the best breakfast I have ever had with home made pastries, jams, etc...

Also if you get a room facing mountains you will have an amazing view straight from your balcony.

Skvělý majitelé,
pěkné pokoje,
super obsluha,
výtečná snídaně,
výborná kuchyně.
Když Smokovec, tak ke Zbyňovi do Reitmayera!

Velmi pěkné pokoje s krásným výhledem na Tatry.

Dlhoročne vynikajúci tatranský penzión so svojim štýlom a atmosférou. Vynikajúci a ústretoví majitelia. Raňajky na úrovni Interkontinentál. Tak isto kuchyňa vynikajúca. Výborná poloha. Vrelo odporúčam či už na dovolenku alebo aj služobnú cestu.

V penzióne Reitmayer sme boli ubytovaní po prvý krát. Krásne čisté izby, milí majitelia. Krásne naservírované raňajky, veľký výber, možnosť večerať priamo v penzióne. Tiché miesto. Radi sa sem vrátime.
